Winn was scratched from Tuesday's Grapefruit League lineup against the Marlins due to soreness in his right wrist, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The Cardinals are saying the move is precautionary, so it seems for now that Winn is merely day-to-day. Jose Barrero has entered the lineup in Winn's place.

Mears (illness) said Tuesday that he will begin the season on the 15-day injured list, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Mears missed time last week due to an apparently severe stomach illness that resulted in him losing nearly 10 pounds. He seems to be feeling healthy again and was able to complete a side session Monday, but Mears doesn't look as though he'll have enough time to get reconditioned before the Brewers open their season March 27 versus the Yankees. Mears will continue to build up with a series of bullpen sessions and simulated games and could be ready to return from the IL around when he's first eligible April 11.

Young went 0-for-3 in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.

Hitting ninth in what will likely be the Nationals' Opening Day lineup, Young grounded out all three times he came to the plate. The center fielder is batting .189 (7-for-37) this spring with a 3:9 BB:K, but he's done his usual damage when he has managed to get on base, going 4-for-4 on steal attempts. Young is a one-category fantasy asset -- he's got 46 stolen bases in 56 attempts over his 183 career big-league games despite a mediocre .256/.317/.332 slash line -- but his elite defense will at least ensure he gets regular playing time.

Lord is in the running to win a spot in the Nationals' Opening Day bullpen, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

Washington still views the 25-year-old right-hander as a potential starter in the long term, but Lord has shown improved velocity this spring and has been mostly sharp, aside from an eight-run implosion against the Rays on March 13. "I think he can come in and get us a ground ball in a tough situation, which is nice," manager Dave Martinez said Monday after Lord tossed a perfect inning against the Cardinals on 12 pitches. "But it's the deception. It's what he can do. It's everything that he's become and that we've seen that allows us to say: If this guy can throw strikes, he can give us two-plus innings." Lord appears to be in the running for one of the final two spots in the Nats bullpen, and he could be the team's best option to handle a long-relief role.

Weathers gave up one unearned run on one hit and two walks over four innings in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Mets. He struck out one.

The 25-year-old southpaw built up to 65 pitches (37 strikes) in another sharp outing. Weathers has a 0.79 ERA and 11:8 K:BB through 11.1 innings this spring, and he's locked into a rotation spot for the Marlins to begin the season.

Myers went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Mets.

The 29-year-old drove a Paul Blackburn offering over the fence the other way to right field in the third inning, giving Myers his first extra-base hit of the spring. Per Christina De Nicola of MLB.com, Myers has been tinkering with his swing mechanics in camp, and his new stance has begun to pay dividends -- two of his outs Monday had exit velocities above 98 mph. With Jesus Sanchez (side) set to begin the season on the IL, Myers should see regular playing time somewhere in the Miami outfield, but the team's exact alignment remains murky heading toward Opening Day.

Rojas started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 with a base hit in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Cubs in Tokyo.

Rojas is expected to fill a utility role this season, but he was included in the Opening Day lineup as a replacement for Mookie Betts (illness), who was sent back to the United States after struggling to bounce back from a bout with flu-like symptoms, which caused him to drop around 15 pounds. According to David Brandt of the Associated Press, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that he plans to have Rojas start at shortstop in both games in Tokyo, so expect the 36-year-old to remain in the lineup Wednesday. The Dodgers are anticipating that Betts will be ready to play in their domestic season opener March 27 versus the Tigers.

Sanoja appears ticketed for the Marlins' Opening Day roster with Jesus Sanchez (side) set to begin the season on the injured list, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 22-year-old made his big-league debut last season and saw action at four different spots (second base, shortstop, center field and left field) during his 15 appearances with the Marlins. Sanoja will have a similar role to begin the 2025 campaign, and he hasn't looked overmatched at the plate this spring either, batting .296 (8-for-27) with a 4:3 BB:K. Should he find his way into consistent playing time, the 5-foot-7 Sanoja isn't going to supply any power, but he might be a fantasy contributor in stolen bases -- he went 17-for-24 on the basepaths between Double-A and Triple-A in 2024, and he swiped 31 bags in 102 games at Single-A Jupiter the season before.

Wagaman should be on the Marlins' Opening Day roster, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Graham Pauley's assignment to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday removed Wagaman's main competition for a spot. The 27-year-old hasn't done much at the plate this spring, batting .200 (7-for-35) with two homers, one steal and a 5:9 BB:K, but he has experience at both infield and both outfield corners, versatility that could come in handy off the bench with Jesus Sanchez (side) set to begin the season on the IL.

Harris went 3-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.

The center fielder is heating up at the plate at the right time. Harris is batting .324 (11-for-34) this spring with two homers, two steals and a 1:6 BB:K, and he figures to hit fifth or sixth this season when the Atlanta lineup is at full strength. If he can stay healthy, Harris could be poised for his first career 20-20 campaign -- he has yet to play more than 138 games in a regular season since making his MLB debut in 2022.
