Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Strong performance in Sunday's win
Tucker went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Angels.
After getting the day off Saturday, Tucker was a major contributor Sunday, leading the Dodgers with three RBI in a blowout victory. The right fielder's early-season numbers haven't quite lived up to the lofty standards that came with the four-year, $240 million contract he signed during the offseason, though the 29-year-old has been heating up with a .910 OPS over his past 15 games. Overall, Tucker is slashing .259/.356/.410 with four homers, 13 doubles, 23 RBI, 32 runs and three stolen bases across 45 contests.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Getting breather Saturday
Tucker isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.
Tucker will grab a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's contest after going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the series opener Friday. Alex Call will fill in as Los Angeles' right fielder and bat eighth.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Slugs fourth homer
Tucker went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 8-3 victory over the Astros.
Tucker opened the third inning with a bang, crushing a Ryan Weiss fastball over the right-field fence for a solo homer. It marked the outfielder's fourth long ball of the season and first since April 18, snapping a 13-game drought. Through 34 games in his first season with the Dodgers, Tucker is hitting a modest .242/.325/.386, though he has still been a solid run producer with 18 RBI, good for third on the club, while his 24 runs are tied for the team lead with Max Muncy.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Lifts Dodgers to win Monday
Tucker went 1-for-5 with a walk-off two-RBI single in Monday's win over the Marlins.
Tucker's lone hit proved decisive, as his two-RBI single in the ninth inning delivered a walk-off win for the Dodgers. After posting an .841 OPS across 136 regular-season games with the Cubs in 2025, the 29-year-old is off to a relatively slow start in 2026. Through 28 games, Tucker is slashing a modest .236/.320/.364 with three homers, five doubles, 15 RBI, 20 runs and three stolen bases. He has not homered in his last eight contests.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Will remain in cleanup spot
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said before Thursday's game that Tucker will shift to the cleanup spot in the batting order, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
Tucker had been locked into the two spot before he collected a pair of hits while batting fourth Thursday against the Giants. The 29-year-old's tenure with the Dodgers has gotten off to a slow start, but Roberts is hoping a new lineup spot will jumpstart the free-agent signing. Tucker should have plenty of RBI opportunities while hitting behind Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and eventually Mookie Betts (oblique).

Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Holds on for third save
Vodnik picked up the save Saturday against the Dodgers, giving up no runs on two hits and no walks in the ninth inning.
Vodnik did make things interesting, allowing the possible tying and go-ahead runs to reach base, but he got Kyle Tucker to fly out to wrap up an upset victory. The last-place Rockies figure to be near the bottom of the standings in 2026, but Vodnik appears to be the club's clear-cut closer at this time. Through nine frames, the right-hander has a 2.00 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 5:4 K:BB while converting three of his four save opportunities.

Dodgers' Ryan Ward: Headed to majors
The Dodgers are expected to recall Ward from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Ward first reached the Triple-A level in 2023 and has seen his OPS increase in every season he's been at Oklahoma City. After beginning the 2026 campaign by slashing .324/.432/.588 through 81 plate appearances, the 28-year-old will finally get the call to join the big-league roster for the first time. He's spent most of his time in the outfield throughout his professional career but has primarily played at first base this season. It's unlikely he sees regular playing time with the Dodgers, but he could make an occasional start if Freddie Freeman, Teoscar Hernandez or Kyle Tucker need a day off.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Crushes third homer in loss
Tucker went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Colorado.
Tucker pushed his hitting streak up to four games in the first inning -- his third homer of 2026 and his 150th career long ball -- also recording three hits for the second time this year. The All-Star outfielder is off to a solid yet unspectacular start by his lofty standards, slashing .260/.356/.403 with five extra-base hits, 13 RBI, 12 walks and three stolen bases across 90 plate appearances.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Swats second homer
Tucker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Mets.
Tucker has hit safely in seven of his last 10 games but doesn't have a multi-hit effort in that span. He supplied an insurance run with his eighth-inning solo shot Wednesday. For the season, the outfielder is off to a bit of a slow start with a .239/.350/.343 slash line, two homers, 11 RBI, 14 runs scored and three stolen bases over 18 games. He also has a 12:17 BB:K, so he's had little trouble keeping the line moving even with the lack of hitting.

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Receiving Sunday off
Tucker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
It's a scheduled day off for Tucker, who has a double, a homer, two steals, five RBI and eight runs with a .281/.361/.406 slash line while starting the Dodgers' first eight games of the campaign. Alex Call is instead receiving a start in right field Sunday for Los Angeles.
