Walker is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Walker will receive his first day off after going 2-for-5 with two walks, a run and two caught stealings in the first two games of the season. Lars Nootbaar will shift to right field while Brendan Donovan mans left and Nolan Gorman starts at the keystone.

Hayes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Hayes has gone 2-for-13 with two runs and two steals through the first three games of the season, and he'll head to the bench for Sunday's series finale. Jared Triolo will step in at the hot corner and bat seventh.

The Marlins designated de Geus for assignment Sunday.

De Geus will cede his spot on the 40-man roster to right-hander Xzavion Curry, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move. The right-hander failed to win a spot in Miami's Opening Day bullpen during spring training and struggled in his first appearance of the season with Jacksonville on Friday, giving up four runs (one earned) on five hits over 1.1 innings.

The Marlins selected Curry's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Miami designated right-hander Brett de Geus for assignment and optioned right-hander Valente Bellozo to Triple-A to make room on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster for Curry. Though Bellozo's demotion clears a spot in the rotation, Curry is likely ticketed for the bullpen in the short term to provide Miami with some extra coverage in relief. Curry and fellow long reliever Tyler Phillips are candidates to start when Miami's open spot comes around next weekend in Atlanta.

Marsee (oblique) appeared in Triple-A Jacksonville's first two games of the season, going 1-for-8 with two walks, two runs, one RBI and one stolen base.

During spring training, Marsee was limited to just one Grapefruit League appearance while he contended with a right oblique strain, though the 23-year-old outfielder wasn't a serious candidate to break camp with the big club even if he'd been healthy. He was cleared to play in advance of the minor-league season and should be a near-everyday player for Jacksonville this season.

Stowers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Stowers will take a seat for the first time this season, joining fellow left-handed hitters Graham Pauley and Matt Mervis on the bench while the Pirates send southpaw Andrew Heaney to the bump. While starting Miami's first three games of the season, Stowers went 4-for-12 with two walks, two RBI, one run and one stolen base.

Pauley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Pauley went 2-for-6 with a double and an RBI over the Marlins' first two games of the season, but he'll head to the bench for a second straight day with Pittsburgh sending another southpaw (Andrew Heaney) to the bump. Jonah Bride will step in at third base for the lefty-hitting Pauley, who looks poised to fill a strong-side platoon role until Connor Norby (oblique) is ready to return from the injured list.

Mervis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

The lefty-hitting Mervis will take a seat for the second day in a row with the Pirates sending another lefty (Andrew Heaney) to the hill. Eric Wagaman will step in for Mervis at first base and will bat cleanup.

Bart is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Bart will get a breather after he started behind the plate in each of the first three games of the series, going 4-for-12 with two walks, two runs, one RBI and one stolen base. Endy Rodriguez will fill in for Bart, starting at catcher and batting sixth.

Kepler is not in the lineup Sunday against the Nationals, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

After going 1-for-7 with three walks, a double, two runs and four strikeouts in the first two games of the season, Kepler will hit the bench Sunday with lefty Mitchell Parker taking the mound for Washington. Brandon Marsh will shift to left field while Johan Rojas mans center in the series finale.
