Suarez (back) completed three scoreless innings while allowing one hit and no walks to go along with four strikeouts in his rehab start with High-A Clearwater on Thursday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Suarez made his first appearance since hitting the injured list as he ramps up for a projected late-April return to the majors. He threw 33 pitches in the outing and averaged 92.2 mph with his fastball, in line with his velocity from last season.

Feduccia was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Feduccia was recalled to take the roster spot of Freddie Freeman (ankle), but he's logged only three plate appearances since March 4. Feduccia will be optioned to create space for Freeman to return Friday.

Kilian was designated for assignment by the Cubs on Thursday, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Kilian was once a highly-regarded prospect and was acquired by the Cubs as part of the return for Kris Bryant. However, he stalled in the upper levels of the minors and has made only five starts in the majors during his career. Kilian could stick with the organization if he clears waivers.

Toglia went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Brewers.

Thursday marked just the second multi-hit effort of the year by Toglia, who plated a go-ahead run with a double into deep left-center field in the eighth inning. The switch-hitter has started each of Colorado's first 12 games at first base, but it's been a disappointing start to the season overall by Toglia, who smashed 25 home runs in just 116 outings in 2024. He's batting just .191 with zero home runs, a lone RBI and two walks over 50 plate appearances in 2025.

Doyle went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, five RBI and an additional run scored in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Brewers.

Doyle took Brewers right-hander Quinn Priester deep for a leadoff solo homer to open the scoring in the first inning. Doyle later drove in a go-ahead run on a single in the seventh frame, capping off a big day at the plate with a three-run double in the eighth. Although the center fielder began the season going just 2-for-13, he's heating up while batting .350 with three homers, three doubles, 11 RBI and seven runs scored over his last nine games (40 at-bats).

Manager Bud Black said after Thursday's win over Milwaukee that Feltner was pitching through a case of the flu, Suzie Hunter of Guerilla Sports reports.

Feltner put on his best Michael Jordan impression Thursday by delivering a strong performance while playing through the flu, giving up just one run on three hits and two walks while striking out seven batters in six innings. He's lined up to make his next start Tuesday against the Dodgers, though the Rockies may hold the righty out of action if he's not feeling better by then.

Priester didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Rockies after allowing one run on five hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out four.

Other than giving up a leadoff solo homer to Brenton Doyle in the first inning, Priester kept Colorado's bats in check in a tough spot at hitter-friendly Coors Field in his Brewers debut. Priester is helping fill in for the injured Nestor Cortes (elbow) among other sidelined starters, although the right-hander figures to be unlikely to maintain a rotation spot once Milwaukee's pitching staff gets healthier. As it stands, the former top prospect is tentatively scheduled to next face the Tigers at home early next week.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker indicated Thursday that the team plans for Strider (elbow) to make his season debut next week, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Strider yielded one run while striking out 13 over 5.1 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, getting his pitch count up to 90. While Snitker would not officially commit to Strider coming off the 15-day injured list next week, he could just be waiting to make sure the righty bounces back well from the outing Friday. Strider could start as soon as Tuesday in Toronto, but he's been pitching on five days' rest during his rehab assignment, so Wednesday might be the likelier target date.

Manager Brian Snitker said Thursday that Kimbrel is still ramping up at the team's complex in Florida but hasn't begun facing hitters yet, Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Game Atlanta reports.

Kimbrel got off to a late start preparing for the season, as he didn't sign with Atlanta until close to the end of spring training. There's no telling when he might begin facing live opponents, but the plan is still for him to join the big-league club sometime in May if he proves to be effective in the minor leagues.

Acuna (knee) will have a checkup with doctors in Los Angeles early next week and is expected to be cleared for lateral movements and change-of-direction running, Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Game Atlanta reports.

After Acuna ramps up his running, it will be determined when he will begin a rehab assignment, and clarity on a timeline for return should be established. To this point, early-to-mid-May has been viewed as an approximate timetable for his season debut. Acuna is working his way back from left ACL surgery.
