Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two additional runs against the Rockies in a 5-3 win Monday.

Ohtani's homer came in the third inning, when he belted a 408-foot shot to center field. Prior to Monday, the star slugger had been in a bit of a power drought, going deep just once over his previous nine games. Ohtani's spot atop the Dodgers' order has hamstrung his ability to drive in runs to some extent, as he has just six RBI through 18 games. Beyond that, though, he's been quite productive, posting a .296/.390/.549 slash line, five homers and four stolen bases. He's also scored 18 runs, second-most in the majors.

Betts went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run, a double and a walk in Monday's 5-3 win against Colorado.

Betts got the Dodgers off to a fast start with a two-run home run in the first inning. The long ball was the star shortstop's fourth of the campaign, but his first since April 1 -- a span of 10 games. Betts was able to reach base at a steady clip even during the power drought, and he's posted a standout .304/.400/.554 slash line so far this season.

Senzatela (0-3) took the loss against the Dodgers on Monday, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out one batter over 4.1 innings.

Senzatela fell behind early on a two-run Mookie Betts homer in the first inning, and he served up another long ball -- this time to Shohei Ohtani -- in the third. The right-handed hurler was pulled in the bottom of the fifth after giving up another run on a double and a single. Senzatela lacked the ability to miss bats Monday, as he notched just seven whiffs on 91 pitches and struck out only one batter. He remarkably began the campaign with no earned runs allowed over his first two starts covering 9.2 frames despite giving up 19 hits over that span, but the odds have since caught up with him. Across his past two outings, Senzatela has allowed 12 earned runs on 17 hits over 8.2 innings.

Scott earned a save against the Rockies on Monday, allowing two hits and striking out one batter over one scoreless inning.

It wasn't the easiest save for Scott, as he allowed two of the first three batters he faced to reach base while trying to protect a two-run ninth-inning lead. However, the left-hander recovered to retire the final two batters of the frame, resulting in his fifth save. Scott has emerged as the Dodgers' top option for ninth-inning work, as he's converted five of six save opportunities so far while posting a 3.00 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 7:0 K:BB over nine innings.

May (1-1) earned the win over Colorado on Monday, allowing one run on three hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over six innings.

May cruised through five scoreless frames before giving up a run in the sixth. That proved to be the right-hander's final frame, though he may have been able to go deeper given that he threw just 76 pitches (52 of which were strikes). May racked up 14 whiffs among those offerings, six of which came on his sweeper. May's victory Monday was his first of the season and his first in the big leagues since 2023. He's been very impressive to begin the campaign, posting a 1.06 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB through 17 innings.

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-4 with a double, a run, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Padres.

A day after belting his first two homers of the campaign against the Dodgers, Crow-Armstrong shined again with his second straight three-hit performance. The speedy center fielder also logged his seventh swipe of the season, moving him into a tie for second place in that category across the majors. Crow-Armstrong was below the Mendoza Line with a .184 batting average as recently as April 7, but he's since logged a trio of three-hit efforts over his past six games to boost his season slash line up to .257/.313/.432.

Arraez went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs against the Cubs in a 10-4 win Monday.

Arraez hit the second of back-to-back homers with Fernando Tatis in the eighth inning as the Padres pulled away for their 11th straight home victory. The veteran infielder has all but wiped out memories of his slow start to the season -- after going 0-for-13 over his first four games, Arraez has since boosted his average up to .282. That mark is likely to come up even further given that Arraez has never batted less than .294 over a full season, and with two homers so far, he's already halfway to the four long balls he hit across 150 regular-season games last year.

Tatis went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs, a walk, three total runs and three total RBI in Monday's 10-4 victory versus the Cubs.

Tatis put the Padres on the board with a solo shot in the third inning and later contributed a two-run blast in the eighth. The star outfielder went deep just once over his first 10 games, but he's since been on a power surge, clubbing five homers across his past six contests. Tatis is now tied for the major-league lead with six home runs on the season, and he's tied for fifth with 16 runs scored while adding 12 RBI, six stolen bases and a .361/.429/.672 slash line.

Taillon pitched 5.1 innings against the Padres on Monday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out four batters in a no-decision.

Taillon served up a solo homer to Fernando Tatis in the third inning but carried a 3-1 lead into the sixth. He was pulled with one out in that frame after issuing a walk to Manny Machado, and the Cubs' bullpen subsequently allowed four straight batters to reach base as San Diego tied the score. Despite the disappointing ending, it was still a promising outing for Taillon, who logged his third straight start of three or fewer runs. His ERA on the season still stands at a middling 5.40, but that's largely due to a six-run, 4.1-inning disaster in his season debut against Arizona on March 28.

Cease allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out six batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Monday.

Cease tossed three scoreless frames before serving up three runs -- including two on a homer by Michael Busch -- in the fourth. The right-handed hurler departed with two outs in the sixth facing a two-run deficit, but the Padres rallied to pull out the win. Though San Diego is off to a blazing hot 14-3 beginning of the campaign, Cease has yet to fully find his groove, as he's recorded a 6.64 ERA and 1.52 WHIP through 20.1 innings. On a more positive note, he's given up three or fewer runs in three of his four starts, and his overall poor numbers so far are mostly the result of a nine-run, four-inning start against the Athletics on April 8.
