Bennett (elbow) is scheduled to make a rehab start with Single-A Fredericksburg on Thursday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

The upcoming outing will mark Bennett's first appearance in affiliated ball since August 2023. The 24-year-old southpaw missed the entire 2024 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery and currently resides on High-A Wilmington's 7-day injured list, but he may require just one or two starts with Fredericksburg before reporting to the Nationals' South Atlantic League affiliate.

Benge went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and a stolen base for High-A Brooklyn on Tuesday.

The 19th overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft is finding his groove in the South Atlantic League. Benge has reeled off three straight multi-hit performances, and over his last 12 games for the Cyclones he's slashing .314/.375/.451 with four doubles, a homer, a steal, six RBI and 10 runs. Given his college background, the 22-year-old may not be far away from a promotion to Double-A if he keeps raking.

The Nationals promoted Lile from Double-A Harrisburg to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

After splitting 2024 between Harrisburg and High-A Wilmington, Lile returned to Double-A to begin this season and quickly proved deserving of a stiffer test. The 22-year-old outfielder led the Eastern League in hits with 29 while slashing .319/.340/.505 with two homers, six steals, 14 RBI and 17 runs across 94 plate appearances in 21 games.

Olson went 3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

The first baseman continues to put a slow start to the season behind him. Olson's hit safely in 11 of the last 13 games, slashing .298/.431/.532 over that stretch with three homers, seven RBI and 13 runs.

Miller threw a scoreless inning during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Padres, allowing one hit and striking out two.

The 27-year-old replaced Logan Webb in the sixth inning while facing a 5-4 deficit. Miller allowed a single while racking up a season-high mark in strikeouts and throwing 11 of his 18 pitches for strikes. The left-hander has surrendered only one run over 12 appearances this season, while allowing just two hits over his last six. Miller owns a 0.90 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and a 9:6 K:BB in 10 innings thus far.

Wade went 1-for-3 with a two-RBI double and a walk during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Padres.

Wade lined a two-run double into left field in the sixth, capping a three-run inning for San Francisco. With that, the 31-year-old infielder recorded his first extra-base hit since April 11, his fourth double of the 2025 campaign. Wade has supplied a hit in three of the Giants' last five games, slashing .200/.333/.267 with a 3:1 BB:K across 18 plate appearances during that span.

Adames went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Padres.

Adames blasted a 399-foot solo shot to right-center field in the fourth inning, putting the Giants on the board. The 29-year-old shortstop followed with a double to lead off the sixth and later came around to score on an RBI single by Jung Hoo Lee. Adames struggled to begin the 2025 campaign but has been trending upward of late, slashing .294/.381/.529 with four RBI, three runs scored and a 3:4 BB:K across 21 plate appearances in his last five games.

Herrera (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Thursday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Herrera is slated to serve as Memphis' designated hitter for five innings Thursday and then catch for them Friday. The Cardinals haven't revealed how many rehab games Herrera will play, but a return from the 10-day injured list sometime next week seems likely as long as he doesn't suffered any setbacks. Herrera has been shelved since early April with a left knee bone bruise.

Conine is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025 season after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair a dislocated left shoulder, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Conine suffered the injury earlier this month while sliding into second base. He is expected to be ready for spring training and should compete for a job in the Miami outfield in 2026.

Manager Terry Francona said Wednesday that an MRI on Hays' hamstring revealed some minor results, but the Reds are "exploring" not having the outfielder go on the injured list with the hope he's able to play after a few days of rest, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Hays is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals, and he looks safe to rule out for Game 2 as well. The Reds are still seemingly viewing Hays as day-to-day while he manages the hamstring issue and will wait and see how he responds to getting the day off. Cincinnati called up Tyler Callihan from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday and will have him start in left field in Hays' place in Game 1 of the twin bill.
