The Marlins recalled Bellozo from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday.

Bellozo is set to start Friday's game versus the Athletics and could earn additional starts until Ryan Weathers (forearm) is ready to return. The right-hander threw 2.1 innings with Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, so he'll likely have his workload truncated as he pitches on short rest.

The Reds placed Hays on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to April 29, due to a left hamstring strain.

The 29-year-old hasn't seen the field since Monday due to the hamstring issue, and he'll be sidelined for at least another week after being diagnosed with a strain. Hays has delivered a .365/.431/.712 slash line with five homers through the first month of the season, but this is already his second stint on the injured list after missing the start of the campaign due to a calf strain.

The Reds activated Stephenson (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Stephenson is set to make his season debut after missing the first month-plus of the campaign with a left oblique strain. The Reds will carry three catcher for now, as Jose Trevino and Austin Wynns have both played well. Stephenson will be at the top of the catcher depth chart for the Reds but should be eased back into primary catcher duties.

Acuna (knee) is likely still a couple weeks away from beginning a rehab assignment, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Bowman notes that the timeline is a "best guess" on his part and that Atlanta still doesn't know exactly when Acuna will gain clearance to play in rehab games. The outfielder was cleared to ramp up activities a couple weeks ago but is still building strength in his quads as he works his way back from left ACL surgery. A season debut in late May for Acuna looks like the best-case scenario, but early June seems increasingly more likely.

Matos drew the start at center field and went 0-for-3 during Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Rockies.

The 23-year-old received the starting nod with Jung Hoo Lee sitting out against southpaw Kyle Freeland. Matos has been used sparingly this season and is just 1-for-27 at the plate over his last eight appearances. He's now slashing .146/.167/.244 with three runs scored, two extra-base hits, one RBI and a 1:4 BB:K across 42 plate appearances.

The Mets will call up Tidwell from Triple-A Syracuse during their weekend series in St. Louis, Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com reports.

Per Mike Puma of the New York Post, Tidwell will make his major-league debut in a start against the Cardinals on Sunday. Tidwell has posted a 5.00 ERA in his first six starts with Syracuse this season but has struck out 37 over 27 innings. The 23-year-old is likely to be in store for just one start before heading back to Syracuse.

Flores went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored during Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Rockies.

The 33-year-old lined his first double of the season into right field in the sixth inning, driving in Willy Adames before coming around to score himself. Flores recorded his 29th RBI on Thursday, which ranks third in the majors. The designated hitter also logged his first multi-hit performance since April 23, snapping an 0-for-15 skid over his previous four games. He's now slashing .239/.289/.434 with 14 runs scored, seven home runs and a 7:28 BB:K across 121 plate appearances.

Rogers (2-1) took the loss and picked up a blown save in Thursday's 4-3 defeat to the Rockies. He allowed two earned runs on three hits across one inning.

Rogers entered the game in the eighth inning and was tasked with protecting a 3-2 lead. However, the right-hander surrendered a double and two singles, allowing multiple runs for the first time during the 2025 campaign. The 34-year-old reliever has given up just three runs all season, recording a 1.65 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and a 14:3 K:BB across 16.1 innings in 17 appearances.

The Cubs are expected to eventually recall Shaw from Triple-A Iowa to take back over as their third baseman, Patrick Mooney and Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic report.

Shaw was sent down in mid-April after slashing only .172/.294/.241 across 68 plate appearances. The 23-year-old has a .324/.457/.487 slash line with one home run since being demoted to Iowa, including an 11-for-20 surge over the last five games. While a promotion for Shaw does not appear imminent, manager Craig Counsell confirmed that the team eventually plans to hand the third-base job back to Shaw.

Herrera (knee) clubbed a three-run home run in his first rehab game with Triple-A Memphis on Thursday.

Serving as Memphis' designated hitter, Herrera was retired in his first three plate appearances but then went deep in his final trip to the dish. He will catch five innings Friday and keep building up his defensive workload from there before rejoining the Cardinals' active roster.
