Moreno entered Friday's game as a pinch hitter and hit a two-run home run in a 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Moreno batted for catcher Jose Herrera in the ninth inning and pulled the Diamondbacks closer. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo decided to pair starter Zac Gallen with Herrera, after the pitcher was rocked in his previous outing. Gallen has a better ERA this season with Herrera (3.56) than Moreno (6.89). The pitcher has a career 3.27 ERA over 34 games when paired with Herrera. The Gallen/Herrera arrangement could be how Lovullo operates going forward, so fantasy managers that roster Moreno should be cognizant of that.

Rojas went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

Rojas remains in a part-time role, but he has struggled at the plate lately. He's just 2-for-19 with a 2:6 BB:K and two steals over his last nine games while pushing for playing time in center field. Rojas has always had more speed than power, which makes him more effective off the bench at times. He's batting .258 with one home run, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored and seven thefts across 101 plate appearances, mostly as a short-side platoon option.

Turner went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

Turner took the fourth pitch of the game 426 feet to center field off Jacob Lopez. Turner added an RBI single that ended up being a vital insurance run in the ninth inning. He's logged multiple hits in four of the last five games while swiping a bag in three straight contests. The shortstop is up to a .310/.364/.433 slash line with four homers, 20 RBI, 34 runs scored, 13 steals, nine doubles and two triples across 49 games this season.

Banks struck out the only batter he faced to earn the save in Friday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

The Phillies grew their lead from 1-0 to 4-0 in the ninth inning, taking a save situation off the board for Jordan Romano, who entered the game anyway in the bottom of the ninth. He struggled, allowing a three-run home run to Nick Kurtz, and Banks entered after that, striking out Luis Urias to avoid an epic collapse. This was Banks' fourth career save and his first this season. He's mostly pitched in a middle-relief role, compiling a 3.91 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 26:5 K:BB over 23 innings. While he was successful Friday, Banks is unlikely to challenge Romano for the closer role, while Matt Strahm and Orion Kerkering have been the Phillies' primary setup options.

Wheeler (6-1) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out eight over 6.2 scoreless innings to earn the win Friday over the Athletics.

Wheeler hasn't given up a run over his last three starts, surrendering just nine hits and five walks while adding 22 strikeouts across 19.2 innings in that span. He's also won four straight starts while allowing no more than two runs in any of his last seven outings. Wheeler is now at a 2.42 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 88:14 K:BB across 70.2 innings over 11 starts this season. He's been one of the most reliable pitchers in the majors this year, and his next start is projected to be at home versus Atlanta.

Wagaman went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Wagaman's solo shot in the seventh inning got the Marlins on the board, and he added a two-run single in the eighth. While the comeback effort fell short, the 27-year-old continues to swing a fairly hot bat. He's hit safely in six of the last seven games, going 11-for-28 (.393) in that span. For the season, he's up to a .253/.302/.398 slash line with four homers, 15 RBI, 20 runs scored, one stolen base, 10 doubles and a triple across 179 plate appearances. Wagaman likely won't sustain his recent success at the plate, but Miami's offense doesn't have enough impact players to create a significant threat to his playing time.

Stowers went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Stowers extended his hitting streak to 10 games, a span in which he has gone 16-for-37 (.432) with seven extra-base hits. The outfielder's steal was his first in over a month -- his last was April 22 versus the Reds. Stowers has been a revelation for the Marlins this season, slashing .319/.392/.566 with 10 home runs, 31 RBI, 23 runs scored, seven doubles, two triples and three steals across 47 games. He's been the best part of an otherwise mostly lackluster lineup.

Alcantara (2-7) allowed six runs (five earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings to take the loss versus the Angels on Friday.

Alcantara continues to provide decent length, but he's given up at least four runs in five straight starts. He's lost his last seven outings, a span in which he's allowed seven of the eight home runs he's given up this year. This latest poor outing elevated Alcantara's ERA to 8.04 with a 1.57 WHIP and a 40:25 K:BB across 47 innings through 10 starts. It's not getting easier for the struggling starter, as Alcantara's next outing is projected to be at San Diego.

The bullpen session against live hitters that Ohtani (elbow) was originally scheduled to throw pregame Saturday will instead take place Sunday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

The mound session will be a major step in Ohtani's journey to return to game action as a pitcher, as it will mark the first time he has faced hitters since he underwent Tommy John surgery in September 2023. Per Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, the reason for the session moving from Saturday to Sunday is the late ending of Friday's game against the Mets, which included a 98-minute rain delay and went 13 innings, finishing just before 1:00 am ET. Ohtani went 1-for-5 with a walk and a run in the Dodgers' victory.

Scott went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 4-3 win over Arizona.

Scott has put together a modest four-game hitting streak, submitting multiple knocks in two of those outings. The speedy outfielder has 10 multi-hit efforts this year, and he's batting .317 (20-for-63) with one home run, eight RBI, 13 runs scored and five stolen bases over his last 21 games. While Scott has plenty of upside in the speed department, his overall fantasy appeal will likely remain restricted as long as he's hitting near the bottom of the Cardinals' lineup.
