Atlanta optioned Daniel to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.

The transaction comes one day after Daniel was knocked around for five runs on seven hits and four walks over five innings in a loss to the Giants. Atlanta called up right-hander Hunter Stratton from Triple-A to provide a fresh arm in the bullpen for Wednesday's series finale with San Francisco, but it's not yet clear who will replace Daniel in the rotation.

Acuna is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Giants.

Acuna is getting a rare day off for Wednesday's matinee after he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Tuesday's 9-0 loss. Eli White will handle right field and bat eighth for Atlanta.

Lee is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game in Atlanta.

Lee has gone 1-for-9 at the plate in the first two games of the series and will get a breather for Wednesday's finale. Luis Matos will cover center field and bat ninth for the Giants.

Spiers (shoulder) underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed ligament issues, MLB.com reports.

Reds manager Terry Francona confirmed the results of the MRI and said Spiers will seek a second opinion. "It's not cut and dry, but there is some concern," Francona said. Spiers first hurt the shoulder in April and was transferred to 60-day injured list in late May.

Rodriguez was removed from Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Astros with one out in the seventh inning after a comebacker hit him on the inside of his leg, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

Rodriguez waved off manager Torey Lovullo and the team's athletic trainer, but Lovullo pulled him from the game. "He was okay. Probably could have gone a little bit extra, but I felt like he had done his job at that point," Lovullo said. Rodriguez was at the 90-pitch mark and probably wouldn't have come out for the eighth. The left-hander is expected to take his next turn in the rotation Monday against the Tigers.

Woodford (0-1) allowed three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out one over 1.2 innings, taking the loss and a blown save in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Houston.

Woodford came on in the eighth inning with the Diamondbacks leading, 1-0. After getting the first batter to ground out, he gave up a walk and then hung a sweeper to Brice Matthews, who hammered it into the seats in left field for a two-run home run. Woodford stayed in for the ninth, gave up a pair singles and was charged with Houston's final run. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo had already used Kevin Ginkel, perhaps the team's highest-leverage arm, to get out of the seventh inning and had to adapt in the later innings. Woodford has appeared in five games since joining the team earlier this month and has a 4.35 ERA with six strikeouts and four walks over 10.1 innings.

McMahon went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over St. Louis.

The third baseman extended his hit streak to six games Tuesday with a three-run homer off Erick Fedde in the third inning. A popular trade candidate ahead of the deadline, McMahon is heating up at the right time, slashing .333/.417/.857 with two doubles, three homers and seven RBI during the streak. He's posted an OPS above .700 in every regular season since 2019 and is under contract through 2027, making him an appealing target for contenders who could net the Rockies an intriguing package in return.

Moniak went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI, an additional run scored and a walk in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Cardinals.

Moniak opened the scoring with a solo shot off Erick Fedde in the first inning and capped it with an RBI walk in the eighth. The outfielder has been red hot in July, slashing .438/.481/.813 with a 1.293 OPS, a triple, two steals, four doubles, four homers and 11 RBI over 14 games. While there's no guarantee this surge will lead to sustained success -- Moniak had similar hot stretches with the Angels before cooling off -- his recent production has been a rare bright spot in an otherwise rough season for the Rockies.

Kim went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one stolen base in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Twins.

Kim was just 1-for-10 with two strikeouts over four games coming out of the All-Star break. While it wasn't a multi-hit performance, Kim supplied a two-run single in the sixth inning -- he had been limited to just one RBI across his last 20 contests. He's now batting .317 with a .782 OPS, two home runs, 15 RBI, 17 runs scored and 12 steals across 133 plate appearances. Kim continues to occupy a strong-side platoon role at second base.

Pages went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Twins.

Pages has homered twice in as many games versus Minnesota. He's now 5-for-10 with three extra-base hits over his last three contests as he looks to find more game-to-game stability in July. The outfielder has a .285/.326/.489 slash line with 19 homers, 63 RBI, 48 runs scored and eight stolen bases over 98 games this season.
