Tatis went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and a stolen base in a loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

Tatis batted a paltry .184 in May, and he opened June with an 0-for-3 effort against the Pirates. However, he's looked better over his subsequent three contests, notching at least one hit in each game and going a combined 5-for-12 with two walks and three steals during that span. Despite Tatis' struggles last month, he still holds a healthy .830 OPS on the campaign, and he remains a dual power-speed threat with 13 homers and 12 thefts through 59 games.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 6-5 win against the Padres on Wednesday.

Chapman's lone hit was a big one, as he swatted a two-run homer to left field in the sixth inning to cut a four-run Padres lead in half. The long ball extended the veteran third baseman's on-base streak to seven games, a span in which he's batting .417 (10-for-24) with two homers, three doubles and three RBI. Chapman is batting just .236 on the campaign, but his .791 OPS ranks second on San Francisco, and he's added 11 homers along with five stolen bases through 61 contests.

Pivetta allowed five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five batters over six-plus innings in a no-decision against San Francisco on Wednesday.

Pivetta cruised early, and the Padres' offense gifted him a 5-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth frame. He gave up a run in that inning but still looked to be on track for a win even after giving up two more runs in the sixth. However, Pivetta allowed the only two batters he faced in the seventh to reach base, and he lost a bid for both a victory and a quality start when both runners came around to score following his departure. This was the fourth straight start in which Pivetta has completed exactly six innings, but this was the first time during that span that he's given up more than two runs. He still holds a 3.16 ERA and 1.02 WHIP on the campaign, and he'll look to finish more strongly in his next start, which lines up to come at home against the division-rival Dodgers.

Rodriguez notched a save against the Padres on Wednesday, striking out one batter in a perfect two-thirds of an inning.

The Giants carried a one-run lead into the ninth inning, and with primary closer Camilo Doval having blown a save and thrown 28 pitches Tuesday, manager Bob Melvin turned to Ryan Walker to shut the door. However, Walker allowed two hits and retired only one batter, so Melvin pulled him and instead turned to Rodriguez. The righty came through, striking out Jackson Merrill and getting Gavin Sheets to pop out to secure his first career major-league save. Rodriguez has been remarkable this season, posting a minuscule 0.66 ERA and 0.62 WHIP with a 39:3 K:BB over 27.1 innings. He has a modest six holds (along with Wednesday's save) across his 26 appearances, but he seems to be working into a higher-leverage role with three of those holds coming over his past seven outings. Doval remains entrenched as the Giants' go-to closer, but considering Walker's inconsistent results, Rodriguez could be a compelling option to close on days when Doval is down or if he were to miss time.

Harrison was diagnosed with a left elbow contusion after getting hit by a comebacker during Wednesday's game against San Diego, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Harrison took a grounder off his elbow during the fifth inning of Wednesday's contest and was immediately pulled from the game. However, it appears he escaped from the incident with only a bruise. A team day off Monday will give Harrison an extra day to rest before his next scheduled start, but the Giants will wait a few days to see how he recovers before they pencil him in for another outing. The southpaw allowed five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three batters in 4.2 frames Wednesday and finished with a no-decision.

Bogaerts was removed from Wednesday's game against the Giants due to left shoulder soreness, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts went 0-for-3 during Wednesday's loss before being replaced on defense to start the sixth inning. Manager Mike Shildt didn't comment on the severity of the shortstop's injury after the game, though Jose Iglesias could be in line for some starts if Bogaerts is forced to miss any time.

Sale (3-4) was saddled with the loss Wednesday against the Diamondbacks after giving up one run on three hits and four walks in six innings. He struck out 10.

Sale was already up to 25 pitches following the opening inning, but that didn't impede him from putting together a dominant performance. It was the star left-hander's third outing with double-digit punchouts this season, and he even reached 98 mph with his fastball three times. Sale has rediscovered his form after struggling to a 6.17 ERA through his first five starts, as he's notched a 1.43 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 64:16 K:BB over his last eight, and his next outing is set to come against a Brewers team with a weak .664 OPS over 32 games since May 1.

Kelly (6-2) earned the win Wednesday against Atlanta after giving up one hit and one walk in seven scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

After conceding eight runs over his previous two starts, Kelly bounced back in a big way Wednesday. The veteran right-hander submitted his seventh quality start of the year, and it was the sixth time in his last 11 appearances that he fired at least six frames while yielding two runs or fewer. Kelly sports a 2.55 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 69:12 K:BB over 67 innings since April 8, and he's next projected to face a Mariners a club with a .654 OPS against right-handed pitching across 29 outings since May 1.

Hernandez was pulled from Wednesday's game versus the Diamondbacks due to numbness in his right pinky, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Manager Brian Snitker said after the game that Hernandez looked to be fine after an evaluation from the team's training staff. Atlanta may look to stay away from using Hernandez out of the bullpen for another day or two as a precaution, but a trip to the injured list shouldn't be necessary.

Gurriel went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two walks in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Atlanta.

Gurriel pushed his hitting streak to 10 games, and it was the first time he drew multiple walks since May 18. Over his last 28 games, the veteran outfielder is batting a potent .324 (35-for-108) with four home runs, eight doubles, 19 RBI and 12 runs scored. Gurriel has 12 multi-hit performances during this hot stretch.
