Baty (groin) isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against Atlanta, but he could be available off the bench, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Ronny Mauricio will pick up a third consecutive start at third base while Baty sits due to a groin injury he suffered Sunday. The Mets were considering placing Baty on the injured list Wednesday, but he arrived at the ballpark Thursday feeling much better and showed improvement during pregame drills. That bodes well for his chances of avoiding a stint on the injured list, but it remains unclear when he'll be cleared to appear in a game again.

Conforto isn't in the lineup against the Padres on Thursday.

Conforto is on the bench for the second consecutive night with Andy Pages, Hyeseong Kim and Teoscar Hernandez starting in the outfield again. Manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that Conforto is still going to make regular starts, but Kim may see increased time in the lineup, per Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com.

Fedde did not factor into the decision in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings.

Fedde opened with three scoreless innings before allowing two runs over the fourth and fifth, one of which was the result of a two-out error. The 32-year-old has now yielded three earned runs or fewer in five straight outings, though he's gone deep enough to earn a quality start just once during that stretch. He'll carry a 3.54 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 55:36 K:BB across 84 innings into a home matchup with the Cubs next week.

Winn isn't in the lineup for Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Winn is getting a breather after going 0-for-4 with a walk in the first game of the doubleheader Thursday. The shortstop got a rare day off June 15, but he still logged two at-bats in that game. The last game he did not appear in was April 21 due to a back injury.

Herrera is not in the lineup for the second game Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Herrera started the previous 34 games but will take a seat for the second half of Thursday's twin bill. He went 2-for-4 with a run in the Cardinals' 5-4 win over the White Sox in the first game of the doubleheader.

Contreras went 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk and three RBI in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Contreras opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and later tied the game with a two-run homer in the eighth. The 33-year-old is enjoying a productive June, with nine extra-base hits and 18 RBI over 16 games. For the season, he's slashing .249/.338/.421 with 10 home runs, 48 RBI, 36 runs scored and three steals across 300 plate appearances.

Helsley earned the save in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Helsley was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth and needed just 10 pitches to secure his first save since May 31. It was an encouraging outing for the 30-year-old, who had blown three straight save chances and allowed a run in each of his previous four June appearances. On the season, he's 14-for-19 in save opportunities with a 3.81 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 31:12 K:BB across 26 innings.

Hayes isn't in the lineup for the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Tigers.

After an 0-for-4 performance during a 9-2 loss in Game 1, Hayes will grab a seat on the bench for the back half of Thursday's activities. Jared Triolo will replace him at the hot corner and bat sixth.

Bart isn't in the lineup for the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against Detroit.

Bart will get a chance to rest Thursday evening after going 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in the early game. Henry Davis will be on the receiving end of Paul Skenes' pitches while batting eighth in Game 2.

The Marlins optioned Mazur to Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday.

Mazur struggled during his Marlins debut with four runs allowed in 5.2 innings Wednesday, and he'll now be sent back to Triple-A with Janson Junk due to join Miami's rotation. Robinson Pina was called up from Jacksonville in a corresponding move to bolster the team's bullpen depth.
