Rays manager Kevin Cash said that DeLuca will be shut down for 3-to-5 days due to mild soreness in his right shoulder after throwing and swinging a bat, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

If he feels better following the brief shutdown period, DeLuca will be allowed to resume his rehab. DeLuca doesn't seem to be dealing with a significant setback at this time, but the outfielder certainly will not be activated from the 10-day injured list anytime soon. Chandler Simpson has been operating as the Rays' primary center fielder of late.

Lowe (oblique) could begin a rehab assignment with the Rays' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate as soon as Saturday, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Lowe took batting practice on the field Tuesday and the team is "super encouraged" with the outfielder's progress, per manager Kevin Cash. If he continues to trend in the right direction, Lowe might be cleared to play in rehab games this weekend. Lowe is recovering from a right oblique strain that he suffered Opening Day.

Anthony (foot) is starting in left field and batting leadoff for Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Tommy Cassell of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports.

The 20-year-old exited Friday's contest after fouling a pitch off his foot and didn't play the rest of the weekend, but he's ready for action after Monday's team off day. Anthony was seeing his first outfield action of the season Friday after being limited to serving as the designated hitter due to shoulder inflammation. Despite the injury, he's been crushing the ball early in 2025 with five homers and a 1.039 OPS through 23 games.

Dominguez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Baltimore.

The red-hot Trent Grisham continues to get run in center field, and this time he's starting at the expense of Dominguez. Cody Bellinger will shift over to left field for the Yankees on Tuesday.

O'Hearn is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Yankees.

O'Hearn rarely starts against left-handed pitching, and he will begin Tuesday's contest on the bench as the Yankees send southpaw Carlos Rodon to the bump. Ryan Mountcastle is in the designated hitter spot, and Emmanuel Rivera will play first base.

Kjerstad is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

With lefty Carlos Rodon on the bump for the Yankees, the left-handed hitting Kjerstad will yield to switch hitter Dylan Carlson in left field. Kjerstad is 2-for-17 against lefties this season.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Yankees.

The left-handed-hitting Holliday will grab a seat as the Yankees send lefty Carlos Rodon to the bump. Jorge Mateo is at second base and batting eighth for the Orioles.

Renfroe is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays.

Renfroe is out of the starting lineup for the second consecutive game, as his leash appears to be shortening after a tough start to the season. The veteran right fielder is slashing just .177/.257/.210 with just two doubles, zero home runs, four RBI and a 7:14 BB:K across 70 trips to the plate. Drew Waters is in right field and batting seventh Tuesday.

The Guardians transferred Bieber (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander continues to rehab from Tommy John surgery and isn't expected to be fully ramped up until the middle of summer, so the IL move won't affect his return timeline. Bieber is expected to begin pitching in simulated games at the Guardians' spring training complex at some point in May, after which a lengthy minor-league rehab assignment is likely to follow.

The Guardians optioned Bolton to Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Bolton was in the majors for just one day and yielded three runs over two innings in his lone appearance. He's being sent out in favor of fresh bullpen help.
