Braves' Tyler Mahle: Collects fifth win
Mahle (5-10) allowed one run on six hits, two walks and a hit batsman while striking out four over five-plus innings to earn the win over Milwaukee in the Little League Classic on Sunday.
Mahle fell short of a fourth straight quality start, but he delivered another strong performance. He's given up just four runs over 23.2 innings while adding a 23:5 K:BB over four starts with Atlanta since he was traded from San Francisco. He's at a 4.41 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 112:42 K:BB through 118.1 innings over 22 starts this season, but the change of scenery has completely turned his campaign around. Mahle will look to keep rolling in a home start versus Colorado his next time out.

Braves' Tyler Mahle: Takes loss despite quality start
Mahle (4-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over 6.2 innings.
Mahle allowed a two-out double in the first inning before Josh Bell launched a two-run homer to open the scoring. The right-hander settled in nicely from there as he didn't surrender another run, recording 17 outs against the final 19 batters he faced. Unfortunately for Mahle, Atlanta provided just one run of support, saddling him with his 10th loss. He's delivered a quality start in each of his three outings since joining the team, allowing only three runs across 18.2 innings while striking out 19 during that span. Mahle owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 108:40 K:BB across 113.1 innings this season. He will face a tougher test in his next scheduled start against the star-studded Dodgers.

Braves' Tyler Mahle: Strikes out seven in win
Mahle (4-9) earned the win against the Mets on Wednesday, allowing one run on four hits and no walks with seven strikeouts over six innings.
Mahle cruised through five scoreless innings before surrendering a solo homer in the sixth, throwing 58 of 93 pitches for strikes with 15 whiffs. A change of scenery has benefited the 31-year-old, who's allowed just one earned run while racking up 16 strikeouts across two quality starts since joining Atlanta at the trade deadline. Overall, he owns a 4.64 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 105:39 K:BB across 106.2 innings between Atlanta and San Francisco this season. Braves' Tyler Mahle: Set for team debut Friday
Mahle will make his Atlanta debut with a start Friday against the Yankees in New York.
Acquired from the Giants over the weekend, Mahle will slot into the back end of the Atlanta rotation as a replacement for Reynaldo Lopez (knee), who landed on the injured list Sunday. Mahle took advantage of a favorable home park in San Francisco by delivering a 2.65 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over nine starts, but those ratios swelled to a 8.04 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in nine starts away from Oracle Park. The right-hander profiles as a high-risk fantasy option Friday at Yankee Stadium, which is notoriously friendly for left-handed power hitters like Ben Rice, Jazz Chisholm and Luis Garcia.

Braves' Tyler Mahle: Dealt to Atlanta
Atlanta acquired Mahle from San Francisco on Sunday in exchange for right-hander Anthony Molina, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Mahle will head to Atlanta after turning in a 5.13 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 89 strikeouts over 94.2 innings in 18 starts with the Giants this season. The right-hander has struggled with his consistency on the mound, posting six starts during which he allowed one or zero runs while also surrendering five or more runs on six occasions. Mahle will likely immediately slot in to Atlanta's starting rotation after Reynaldo Lopez (knee) was placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday.

Giants' Tyler Mahle: Mixed bag in no-decision
Mahle allowed five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus San Diego on Saturday.
On the plus side, Mahle induced 13 whiffs and struck out a season-high nine batters. However, the five earned runs were the most he's allowed across his past eight starts. Mahle didn't give up a ton of traffic, but five of the eight batters who reached against him came around to score. The right-hander pitched pretty well in July with a 2.82 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB over 22.1 innings spanning four starts, so this was a small step back for him. Mahle will look to get back on track the next time he takes the mound, which is projected to be at home against Detroit.

Mahle (3-9) earned the win Monday, allowing three hits and two walks over six-plus scoreless innings against Milwaukee. He struck out three.
Mahle silenced the Milwaukee offense, spinning six shutout frames to pick up his third win. Overall, the 31-year-old has struggled to a 4.96 ERA and 1.40 WHIP across 89 innings (17 starts). However, he's pitched much better of late, posting a 2.00 ERA and 1.06 WHIP across 18 innings in his past three starts. Mahle will look to stay hot in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Saturday at San Diego.

Giants' Tyler Mahle: Saddled with ninth loss
Mahle (2-9) took the loss Tuesday against the Royals, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings.
Mahle surrendered a solo homer to Carter Jensen in the third inning to open the scoring, though it was just the second home run he has allowed over his last 26.1 innings. He kept Kansas City in check after that but ran into trouble in the sixth, issuing a walk and hitting a batter before exiting the game. Sam Hentges and Keaton Winn were unable to strand the inherited runners, inflating Mahle's line. The veteran right-hander has completed six innings just once over his last 11 starts -- his final outing before the All-Star break -- and owns a 5.36 ERA during that stretch. Mahle is projected to make his next start at home against a difficult Brewers lineup.

Facing a soft matchup at home against the last-place Rockies, Mahle delivered one of his finest outings of the campaign Saturday. The 31-year-old right-hander matched a season high in innings during his second quality start of 2026, emptying the tank for a season-most 104 pitches. Despite Saturday's gem, Mahle still has a lackluster 5.31 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 73:32 K:BB over 78 innings ahead of the All-Star break.

Mahle allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits and struck out five without walking a batter over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Sunday.
Mahle was mostly able to limit mistakes, but the Rockies still got enough traffic on the bases to make this a tough outing. He has given up just one home run over three starts since he returned from a hamstring strain, which has helped him avoid truly awful starts. He's still struggling overall with a 5.70 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 69:29 K:BB through 71 innings over 14 starts. Mahle is lined up for a rematch at home versus the Rockies in his next start.

Giants' Tyler Mahle: Reverts to poor form Monday
Mahle (1-8) allowed four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.1 innings to take the loss Monday versus the Diamondbacks.
Mahle looked good in his return from a month-long absence due to a hamstring injury last week versus the Athletics, but he couldn't repeat the effort. Due to the injury, he's faced the Diamondbacks in three of his last four games, allowing a total of 13 runs over 14.1 innings against them. For the season, he has a 5.67 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 64:29 K:BB through 66.2 innings over 13 starts. Mahle will probably have a hard time getting back on track over the weekend in a tough road matchup in Colorado.
