Bader is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Orioles on Tuesday due to an illness, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Bader won't start Tuesday, but Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said the 30-year-old outfielder could be available off the bench. The Twins will go with Willi Castro, Byron Buxton and Trevor Larnach as their starting outfield trio against Orioles southpaw Cade Povich.

Young (shoulder) was placed on Triple-A Norfolk's 7-day injured list Tuesday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Young is working through right shoulder discomfort, which he experienced following Friday's start against Charlotte. The injury isn't severe enough to warrant an MRI at this point, but he will rest for an extended period of time before embarking on a rehab program. Young is 2-1 across four starts in Triple-A this season with a 2.82 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 22:4 K:BB across 22.1 innings.

Robert is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Robert started the previous 16 games and will receive a day off after posting a .241/.371/.483 slash line with four homers and nine steals during that stretch. Michael Taylor is starting in center field and batting ninth Tuesday in Kansas City.

Benintendi (calf) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

It's the second straight game on the bench for Benintendi after exiting Sunday's matchup with the Astros due to left calf tightness. Brooks Baldwin is receiving the start in left field and batting seventh Tuesday.

O'Neill (neck) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

It was believed that O'Neill could avoid needing a rehab assignment, but he's now set for one as he tries to return from neck soreness. The outfielder was eligible to return from the 10-day injured list May 4. However, he will need two to three appearances in Triple-A before he is ready to return, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. The right-handed batter should be expected to return for the three-game series against the Angels that commences Friday.

The Angels designated Toussaint for assignment Tuesday.

Toussaint made a bullpen appearance for the Angels on Sunday against the Tigers, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out three over two innings. The 28-year-old will go on waivers and could be claimed by a team looking to bolster its bullpen depth. Toussaint has a 5.32 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 19:14 K:BB across 22 innings in Triple-A this season.

Adell is not in the Angels' lineup against the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Tuesday's game will be the third time Adell is not in the starting lineup over the Angels' last four games going back to May 2. When he did play May 4 against the Tigers, he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Without the 26-year-old starting Tuesday, Taylor Ward, Kyren Paris and Gustavo Campero are the Angels' starting outfielders versus Toronto.

Eflin (lat) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday and said he's "as close as I can be" to coming off the injured list, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The right-hander made a rehab start with High-A Aberdeen on Sunday and threw 58 pitches while allowing two hits and two walks with four strikeouts over four scoreless innings. Eflin could rejoin Baltimore's rotation as early as this weekend in Anaheim, but it's also possible he's sent for another rehab start to further build up his pitch count before being reinstated from the injured list.

The Angels optioned Darrell-Hicks to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Darrell-Hicks made one appearance after being recalled from the minors Saturday, giving up three earned runs in one inning against the Tigers on Sunday. He'll now be sent back to Salt Lake in favor of Connor Brogdon and Hector Neris, who were promoted Tuesday to give Los Angeles a couple of fresh bullpen arms.

The Angels optioned Kavadas to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Kavadas was recalled by the Angels on Friday and entered Sunday's loss as a pinch hitter in the seventh hitting, flying out in his lone plate appearance. He'll head back to Triple-A, where he is slashing .248/.376/.450 with 16 runs scored, five home runs and 20 RBI in 133 plate appearances. Kavadas' move to Salt Lake makes room on the Angels' 26-man roster for Yoan Moncada (thumb), who was reinstated off the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.
