Naylor isn't in the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against Washington.

Naylor will give way to Austin Hedges behind the plate after going 2-for-5 and scoring a run during a loss in Game 1.

Westburg (hamstring) is with Triple-A Norfolk and will work out for a couple days before getting into rehab games later this week, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

There was a report last week that Westburg may not need a rehab assignment, but we can now rule out a return when first eligible Wednesday. If he needs only a couple rehab games, he could still be activated by the end of the weekend, but those in weekly leagues should try to get him out of lineups.

Scherzer (thumb) is in line to face live batters Wednesday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Scherzer is progressing in his recovery from right thumb inflammation that landed him on the 15-day injured list in late March. He'll continue to build up his workload and pitch count, and how his thumb responds following Wednesday's session will give the Blue Jays a better sense of when the veteran right-hander can return.

Arozarena (hamstring) is batting cleanup as the designated hitter Tuesday against the Athletics.

Arozarena missed the series opener against the Athletics on Monday after departing Sunday's game against the Rangers due to a minor hamstring injury. The outfielder is making his return as expected Tuesday, but it comes with not having to take the outfield. With Arozarena batting as the designated hitter, Miles Mastrobuoni is starting in left field, and the regular designated hitter, Jorge Polanco, is at second base.

Raleigh is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Athletics on Tuesday.

Raleigh will get his first day off of the season while Mitch Garver starts behind home plate and bats fifth. Raleigh is slashing .240/.359/.574 with four stolen bases, 23 runs scored, 12 home runs and 23 RBI in 153 plate appearances to start the season.

The White Sox outrighted Murfee to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Murfee lost his place on the major-league roster Sunday after turning in a 7.82 ERA over 12.2 innings, and he has now also lost his 40-man spot. He'll stick with the organization as bullpen depth for the Knights, though he'd likely need to show significant improvement to get another shot in Chicago.

Varsho (back) will start in center field and bat sixth against the Angels on Tuesday.

Varsho was a late scratch from the lineup Sunday due to back tightness, but a couple of days off has him ready to return to the starting nine Tuesday. Since returning from the injured list, the 28-year-old has gone 3-for-14 with two homers, three RBI and three runs scored across five games.

Bader is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Orioles on Tuesday due to an illness, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Bader won't start Tuesday, but Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said the 30-year-old outfielder could be available off the bench. The Twins will go with Willi Castro, Byron Buxton and Trevor Larnach as their starting outfield trio against Orioles southpaw Cade Povich.

Young (shoulder) was placed on Triple-A Norfolk's 7-day injured list Tuesday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Young is working through right shoulder discomfort, which he experienced following Friday's start against Charlotte. The injury isn't severe enough to warrant an MRI at this point, but he will rest for an extended period of time before embarking on a rehab program. Young is 2-1 across four starts in Triple-A this season with a 2.82 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 22:4 K:BB across 22.1 innings.

Robert is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Robert started the previous 16 games and will receive a day off after posting a .241/.371/.483 slash line with four homers and nine steals during that stretch. Michael Taylor is starting in center field and batting ninth Tuesday in Kansas City.
