The Orioles recalled Carlson from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

The 26-year-old was demoted to Norfolk on Wednesday but will quickly return to Baltimore with Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) headed to the injured list. Carlson has gone 0-for-15 with eight strikeouts while appearing in just 10 games for Baltimore this season. He'll provide some outfield depth but isn't likely to have a regular spot in the lineup even while O'Neill is sidelined.

The Orioles placed O'Neill on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left shoulder impingement, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

O'Neill was scratched from the lineup for Friday's series opener versus Washington and will now be sidelined for at least the next week due to the shoulder issue. The injury doesn't seem to be a serious concern, but it's already the second time this season the oft-injured outfielder has ended up on the shelf. Dylan Carlson was called up to provide outfield depth for Baltimore, which is likely to rely on Heston Kjerstad more while O'Neill is out.

Bieber (elbow) threw a live batting practice session Friday that Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt said "went well," MLB.com reports.

Bieber has thrown a number of live BP sessions as he progresses through the rehab process. The Guardians are targeting a midseason return for the veteran right-hander.

The Twins placed Coulombe on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to an extensor strain in his left forearm.

It's unclear when Coulombe sustained the injury since he hasn't pitched since Wednesday. The left-hander hasn't given up a run through 19 appearances this season and owns a stellar 19:2 K:BB over 16.2 innings out of the Minnesota bullpen, but he'll now be unavailable for at least the next couple weeks.

Thomas (wrist) went 1-for-4 with a double for Triple-A Columbus on Saturday. He's 2-for-13 over four games while on a rehab assignment with the Clippers.

Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt told MLB.com that Thomas is doing "really, really good." The Guardians estimated the outfielder would require about a week's worth of rehab games, which may come to end Sunday. Thomas has been on the 10-day injured list since April 20.

The Twins recalled Matthews from Triple-A St. Paul ahead of his start against the Brewers on Sunday.

The right-hander is taking the rotation spot of Simeon Woods Richardson, who was demoted earlier in the week due to his 5.02 ERA through eight appearances. Matthews struggled in his first taste of the majors last year with 28 earned runs and 11 homers allowed across 37.2 innings, but he's been dominant so far in 2025 for St. Paul with a 1.93 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB over 32.2 frames.

Detmers (1-2) earned the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out two batters over two innings.

Detmers entered in the sixth frame with runners on second and third and no outs after Hector Neris allowed all three batters he faced to reach base. Though he yielded an infield single and a walk, Detmers did a good job limiting the damage, allowing just one of the inherited runners to cross the plate while inducing a key double play groundout off the bat of Shohei Ohtani. Detmers continued into the seventh and gave up a run of his own, but he still received credit for the win on a day when he was the most effective Angels reliever aside from closer Kenley Jansen. Detmers recently went through an awful stretch during which he allowed 12 earned runs while retiring just one batter over a three-outing span, but the lefty has been better since then, yielding just one run while posting a 5:3 K:BB across four innings over his past three appearances.

Langford went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-1 win against the Astros.

Langford got Texas on the board with an RBI infield single during the third inning to tie the game at 1-1, and he provided an insurance run with a solo shot in the seventh, his ninth homer of the year. The 23-year-old has hit three long balls in his past six games, though he's batting just .217 (5-for-23) during that span. For the season, Langford has a .248/.331/.489 slash line with eight steals, 20 RBI and 19 runs through 37 contests.

Bellinger went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Mets.

Bellinger tied the game 2-2 with his 432-foot solo blast in the sixth inning, but the Mets pulled out the narrow victory. After posting a meager .638 OPS through the end of April, Bellinger has caught fire in May -- he's in the midst of a 12-game hitting streak during which he's slashing .340/.400/.580 with three homers, six RBI, 10 runs and a stolen base. The hot stretch has brought Bellinger's season OPS up to a more palatable .733 through 173 plate appearances.

Pederson went 1-for-2 with two walks and a two-run home run during Saturday's 5-1 win against the Astros.

Pederson broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning with a two-run homer, his second long ball of the year. It was also just the second time this season he's driven in two runs in a game. The 33-year-old still has an ugly .502 OPS for the year, though he may have turned a corner this month with a .233/.439/.500 slash line and 11:5 BB:K through 12 games in May.
