Hanifee (2-1) allowed a run on two hits and a walk while retiring only two batters to take the loss in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to the Blue Jays.

Hanifee worked the bottom of the ninth inning in a 1-1 game and allowed a one-out double to Daulton Varsho. The righty came back to get the next batter, then intentionally walked Anthony Santander to bring Ernie Clement to the plate with two outs. Clement proceeded to deliver a walk-off single, saddling Hanifee with the loss. The reliever has been solid this season with a 2.35 ERA and 1.17 WHIP across 19 appearances.

Torkelson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jays.

Torkelson provided all of Detroit's offense on his 12th home run of the year in the second inning. The slugger's batting average has been slipping, as he's now batting just .226 over his last 15 contests and .238 for the season through 45 games. However, Torkelson is contributing plenty of pop with an .877 OPS, and he could make a run at his career high of 31 home runs if he stays healthy the rest of the way.

Cecconi (0-1) struck out eight but took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks over five-plus innings in a 4-1 loss to the Reds.

Cecconi was activated from the injured list Saturday after missing the beginning of the campaign due to an oblique issue, and he started off with four scoreless frames before running into any real trouble. The right-hander gave up a solo homer in the fifth and allowed the first two batters to reach in the sixth before being pulled, with both runners coming around to score after his exit. Cecconi served as a swingman for Arizona last season with 13 starts in 20 appearances, and he stumbled to a 6.66 ERA and 1.42 WHIP across 77 innings. His career in Cleveland is off to an intriguing start despite the loss Saturday, but he'll likely need to keep the ball in the yard to find sustained success after allowing a 1.9 HR/9 last year.

Mahle (5-1) earned the win Saturday against the Astros, giving up one run on five hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out three.

Mahle surrendered a run on two hits during the opening inning but blanked Houston for the following five frames for his sixth quality start of the campaign. The right-hander has yet to allow more than two runs in any of his 10 starts and has been one of the best starters in baseball early in 2025 with a 1.47 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 40:18 K:BB over 55 innings.

Blanco (3-4) was charged with the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks over six innings in a 5-1 loss against the Rangers. He struck out five.

The right-hander came out for the sixth inning with the game tied 1-1, but a Joc Pederson two-run homer put him on the hook for the loss. It's the third straight quality start for Blanco, and he hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in an outing since April 6. He has a 3.24 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 39:14 K:BB across 41.2 innings during that stretch.

Cameron (1-1) took the loss Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and no walks over 6.1 innings against the Cardinals. He struck out three.

The left-hander was called up to start Saturday in place of Seth Lugo (finger), and the rookie limited St. Louis to a Jordan Walker solo homer, which was enough to saddle him with the loss as the Royals were shut out. It was initially expected to be a spot start for Cameron, but he now appears poised to receive at least a couple turns through the rotation with Lugo and Cole Ragans (groin) placed on the injured list Saturday. Cameron has pitched exactly 6.1 frames in each of his first two MLB starts and has given up just one run on three hits with a 6:5 K:BB.

Lugo went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Saturday's 11-9 win over the Dodgers.

Lugo was in the lineup for the fourth time in five games, which includes him starting each of the last three contests in center field over Kyren Paris. Lugo has earned the opportunity, batting .381 with three homers and six RBI over his first eight major-league games. As long as he hits well, he should maintain a large share of playing time in the Angels' outfield, though Lugo's role could be reduced once Mike Trout (knee) is able to return.

Ward went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Saturday's 11-9 win over the Dodgers.

Ward put the Angels ahead 4-3 with a third-inning homer, his 11th long ball of the year. He's one of 26 players with double-digit homers through Saturday's action, but Ward's .196 batting average and .682 OPS both rank lowest of any player in that group. He has been turning a corner lately, going 8-for-24 (.333) with three homers and seven RBI over his last six games. Until his hitting is more consistent over a longer stretch, fantasy managers will have to be satisfied with Ward's power production.

O'Hoppe went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Saturday's 11-9 win over the Dodgers.

O'Hoppe had hit a skid recently, going just 2-for-27 with a walk, 10 strikeouts and two RBI over his previous eight games. He quickly made an impact Saturday, delivering a two-run single in the first inning before tacking on a three-run homer in the seventh. O'Hoppe's already at 10 homers this year, halfway to matching his career-best total from 136 games in 2024. The catcher has added a .254/.289/.485 slash line with 23 RBI, 14 runs scored, one double and no stolen bases over 38 contests this season.

Jansen allowed a hit over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the save in Saturday's 11-9 win over the Dodgers. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

Jansen has covered 2.1 scoreless innings versus one of his old teams in this weekend's series. He got through this outing with 16 pitches (13 strikes) while earning his first save since May 3. It's been a bumpy month for the veteran closer, but he's taken care of business in save situations. On the year, he has a 5.40 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB over 13.1 innings, but he's been scored upon only in non-save situations while converting all eight of his save chances.
