The Red Sox are slated to promote Anthony from Triple-A Worcester ahead of Monday's game against the Rays, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

The Red Sox have already released a lineup for Monday that doesn't include Anthony, but Rosenthal says Anthony is slated to bat fifth after he's officially added to the roster. Arguably the top prospect in all of baseball, Anthony has slashed .288/.423/.491 with 10 home runs and a 56:51 K:BB over 58 games this season with Worcester. Wilyer Abreu appears headed to the 10-day injured list with an unspecified injury to clear a spot on the active roster for Anthony.

The Red Sox selected Van Belle's contract from Triple-A Worcester on Monday.

Van Belle has collected a 2.29 ERA and 41:7 K:BB over 51 innings covering eight starts and four relief appearances this season at Worcester. The 28-year-old will give the bullpen some length and will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

The Red Sox designated Stock for assignment Monday.

Stock struggled Sunday against the Yankees, allowing two runs on one hit and three walks while recording just two outs. He's being sent out in favor of Brian Van Belle, who will give the Red Sox a fresh bullpen arm.

Narvaez is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Narvaez had started at catcher in each of the previous four tilts, so he'll get a breather in Monday's series opener. Connor Wong will do the catching for the Red Sox.

Rafaela is making his first-ever start in right field at the major-league level Monday versus the Rays.

It's the second-ever appearance and first start in right field at the big-league level for Rafaela. Kristian Campbell is covering center field for the Red Sox.

Abreu is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

It's notable because the Rays are starting right-hander Shane Baz, marking just the second time all season that Abreu has been absent from the lineup versus a righty. He was also out of the lineup each of the previous two days against lefties, which is common. Ceddanne Rafaela is making his first-ever start in right field Monday.

The Blue Jays have promoted Yesavage from High-A Vancouver to Double-A New Hampshire, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Yesavage will make his Double-A debut later this week after collecting a dominant 2.13 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 88:19 K:BB over 50.2 innings covering 11 starts between Single-A Dunedin and Vancouver. The 21-year-old was the 20th overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft.

The Guardians optioned Wilson to Triple-A Columbus on Monday.

Wilson had just a .498 OPS and 39 percent strikeout rate over 24 contests during his first stint in the majors. He's clearing out to make room on the roster for the return of Lane Thomas (foot).

The Guardians activated Thomas (foot) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Thomas has been limited to only 17 games this season because of a wrist injury and more recently plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He did not go out on a rehab assignment during the most recent IL stint, but the Guardians are convinced the 29-year-old is ready to go. Thomas has just a .305 OPS this season, but with Angel Martinez having gone 4-for-38 over his last nine games, Thomas will likely get another chance to be the team's primary center fielder.

LeMahieu went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Boston on Sunday.

LeMahieu gave New York a one-run lead with a solo shot in the fifth inning, but Boston responded with five runs in the following frame. The long ball was LeMahieu's second of the campaign and his first since May 17. The veteran infielder is slashing a modest .258/.333/.371 on the campaign, though he's been swinging a hot bat since the start of the month, going 9-for-21 (.429 average) with six RBI over six games so far in June.
