Caratini is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Caratini will get the night off Friday after making three consecutive starts -- two at DH and one at catcher. In his absence, Yainer Diaz will catch and Jose Altuve will DH.

Paredes (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Paredes sustained a left hamstring injury during Thursday's game while trying to beat out a double-play ball. The issue will keep him out of the lineup for Friday's series opener against Minnesota. Mauricio Dubon will fill in at third base.

Armstrong will start Friday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Armstrong will make his first start of 2025, though he's expected to throw just one or two innings before handing the ball off to another reliever as part of the Rangers' bullpen game. Armstrong hasn't pitched more than two innings in an appearance this season. He has a 3.33 ERA and a 29:13 K:BB over 27 innings on the campaign.

Trammell (calf) will continue his rehab at Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Trammell is recovering from a significant right calf strain and has yet to make his 2025 debut. However, the 27-year-old outfielder is approaching his long-awaited return, as the move to Triple-A is likely the last step of his recovery. He's been on a rehab assignment since June 2, and it's unclear how many more games he'll need before being activated.

Clase is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.

Clase is absent from the starting nine Friday after making three consecutive starts -- two in left field and one in center field. In the wake of his absence, Davis Schneider, Myles Straw and Addison Barger will fill the outfield from left to right.

Clement (lower body) is batting fifth and playing third base Friday against Philadelphia.

Manager John Schneider said Wednesday that Clement was dealing with a lower-body injury, and after a team off day Thursday, Clement is back in the starting nine. He has a hit in six of his last seven games, going 9-for-30 (.300) with three doubles and a home run during that stretch.

Rodriguez (lat) said Friday that he will throw off a mound next week and believes he'll be able to return sometime in the second half of the season, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Rodriguez added that his elbow and triceps issues are behind him, according to Weyrich, and his focus remains on rehabbing the lat injury. Lat injuries have been Rodriguez's primary concern over the last four years, as this is his third one, and he and the team are trying to determine the root cause of the recurring problem. Rodriguez's mound work next week will be the first time he's thrown off one since suffering his setback in mid-April.

Bregman (quadriceps) said Friday he might skip a minor-league rehab assignment and is running at about 50 percent, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Bregman opted not to provide a target return date, but the third baseman appears to be making good progress in his recovery from a strained right quad. If Bregman foregoes a rehab assignment, he could fast-track his return. Still, he seems to be multiple weeks out.

Kim (shoulder) was pulled off his minor-league rehab assignment Thursday due to right hamstring tightness, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Kim has yet to play in the majors this season while he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery, but he did begin a rehab assignment late last month and has appeared in 12 games for Triple-A Durham. Across 49 trips to the plate with Durham, Kim is slashing .211/.347/.263 with just two extra-base hits, four RBI, eight runs scored, two stolen bases and an 8:5 BB:K. Kim is expected to resume his rehab stint as soon as next week.

Waters is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Waters is absent from the starting nine for a second consecutive game as Nick Loftin takes over in left field. Waters is 5-for-25 (.200) with three runs scored and a stolen base in June.
