  • Angels' Mike Trout: Reaches four times in victory

Trout went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, an additional run and two walks in a 4-3 win over the White Sox on Tuesday. Trout put the Angels on the board in the first inning with a solo blast to left field. He went on to reach three more times in the contest, bouncing back nicely after his 22-game on-base streak ended Monday. Trout is up to 11 long balls on the campaign, tied for sixth-most in MLB, and leads the league with 36 walks. He's added 32 runs (fourth-most in the league), 22 RBI, five stolen bases and a .262/.436/.563 slash line through 36 games.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Launches homer No. 10

Trout went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the White Sox. Trout took Erick Fedde deep in the fourth inning to get the Angels on the board. The future Hall of Famer is up to 10 homers on the season, tied for fourth in the American League with Ben Rice and behind Aaron Judge (12), Munetaka Murakami (12) and Yordan Alvarez (11). Through 31 games this year, Trout is slashing .248/.431/.569 with five steals, 21 RBI and 27 runs.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Goes yard in loss

Trout went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 11-9 extra-inning loss to the Royals. Trout gave the Angels a fast start with his first-inning blast. The veteran outfielder has cooled off a bit after his power binge in the middle of April -- he's now gone 10 games without a multi-hit effort. While he's batting just .232 on the year, he has a .960 OPS, nine long balls, 20 RBI, 26 runs scored, four stolen bases and four doubles across 28 contests this season. The biggest question with Trout is durability, but he has been in near-vintage form over the first month of 2026.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Homers, swipes bag Wednesday

Trout went 1-for-3 with a home run, an additional run, two walks and a stolen base in a 7-3 win against Toronto on Wednesday. Trout provided a big boost to the Angels offense and a nice line for fantasy managers with a fifth-inning homer and a seventh-inning stolen base. The veteran outfielder extended his on-base streak to 13 games, and he's slashing .283/.450/.739 with six homers, 14 RBI, 16 runs, two thefts and a 14:8 BB:K during that span. With eight homers and four steals through 25 contests, Trout is providing ample value for fantasy managers who took him in drafts with the hope that he could stay healthy.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Fourth straight day with homer

Trout went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, three walks and three runs scored in Thursday's 11-4 win against the Yankees. Trout continued to dominate New York pitching, launching his seventh homer of the season -- and fifth of the four-game series -- while also drawing three walks, including an intentional pass that showed the Yankees' respect for his power. After a brief slowdown to begin April, Trout has caught fire again, going 9-for-23 with 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and six walks over his last six games. Following three injury-plagued and underwhelming seasons, the 34-year-old is showing strong signs of returning to his elite form, with early production suggesting a potential return to 30-plus home run territory, if he can stay fairly healthy.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Continues power surge Tuesday

Trout went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a 7-1 victory over the Yankees on Tuesday. Trout put the Angels on the board with a solo shot to center field in the first inning that was immediately followed by long balls from Jo Adell and Jorge Soler. The homer was Trout's fifth of the campaign and third over his past two games. The veteran slugger's home runs have come in bunches this season -- he went deep in his first two games of the campaign, but then went 13 games without a homer before belting the trio of long balls over Monday and Tuesday.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Launches pair of homers

Trout went 2-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs scored in Monday's 11-10 loss to the Yankees. Trout was quiet through his first three at-bats before launching a 421-foot three-run homer in the sixth inning and adding a two-run shot two innings later. The long balls were his third and fourth of the season after he had gone homerless since going deep in each of the first two games of the season, and the performance marked the 31st multi-homer game of his career. Even with the recent drought, Trout continues to produce in multiple categories, now slashing .224/.400/.483 with 12 RBI, 16 runs scored and two stolen bases across 75 plate appearances.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Back in lineup Tuesday

Trout (hand) will start in center field and bat second Tuesday against Atlanta. Trout took a day off Monday to recover after getting hit on the hand by a pitch Sunday, but he's now feeling well enough to return to the starting nine. The 34-year-old has gone just 1-for-20 with nine strikeouts over his last six games, but he still owns an .859 OPS for the season.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Absent from Monday's lineup

Trout (hand) is not in the lineup for Monday's contest against Atlanta, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports. Trout had to leave Sunday's game versus the Mariners after being hit on the left hand by a pitch. X-rays came back negative, but Trout will get a day of rest as he deals with some residual soreness. Bryce Teodosio will grab a start in center field for the Halos.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Avoids structural damage after HBP

X-rays on Trout's left hand came back negative after he exited Sunday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Mariners, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports. Trout left the contest in the bottom of the eighth inning after taking a fastball off his left hand, but he appears to have avoided a major injury. Manager Kurt Suzuki described the injury as a contusion after the game, noting that the outfielder is considered day-to-day moving forward. The Angels will kick off a three-game home series versus Atlanta on Monday.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Exits early after HBP

Trout (hand) exited Sunday's contest against the Mariners in the eighth inning after being hit by a pitch, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports. Trout was forced to leave the game after he took a 94.2 mph fastball off his left hand from relief pitcher Casey Legumina in the bottom of the eighth. The outfielder tried to stay in the contest, but after a meeting with the training staff, he was unable to continue, and Oswald Peraza entered the game to run in his place. More information on Trout's status will likely be provided in the near future.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Leaves yard again Friday

Trout went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Astros. The 34-year-old is looking rejuvenated to begin 2026, joining Chili Davis, Tim Salmon, Brian Downing and Joe Rudi as only the Angels in franchise history to hit homers in the first two games of a season. Trout was able to play 130 games last year and handle 555 plate appearances, his largest workload since 2019, so the Halos may have finally figured out the best way to keep the long-time face of the franchise healthy and productive. So far this season, he's gone 4-for-6 with two solo shots, a steal and a 4:1 BB:K.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Drives offense in win

Trout went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, three walks and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Astros. The 34-year-old snapped a scoreless tie in the seventh inning with his shot off AJ Blubaugh, the decisive blow in Anaheim's shutout victory. It's a strong start to the year for Trout, who's hoping to stay healthy after slashing .232/.359/.439 with 26 homers and just two steals across 130 games in 2025.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Back in action Sunday

Trout (hand) is starting in center field and batting second in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Dodgers, Jack Janes of TheSportingTribune.com reports. Trout departed Friday's spring contest after being hit by a pitch on the hand, but he had X-rays come back negative and is rejoining the lineup after getting one day off. The 34-year-old is coming off a 2024 campaign that saw him total 26 homers with a .232/.359/.439 slash line in 130 games, which was his largest workload since 2019.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: X-rays on hand negative

Trout had precautionary X-rays come back negative after being hit by a pitch during Friday's spring game against the White Sox, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports. The veteran outfielder was plunked in his first plate appearance and stayed in to run the bases, but he was then pulled from the game and sent for imaging. Trout avoided a fracture, so his availability for Opening Day next week shouldn't be affected by the injury.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Wants to return to center field

Trout said Monday that he wants to return to center field this season, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports. Trout began the 2025 season as the Halos' right fielder, but he was a full-time designated hitter from late April on after suffering a bone bruise to his surgically repaired left knee. The three-time MVP noted Monday that he's more comfortable in center field and believes it's easier on his body. Per Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register, manager Kurt Suzuki said that he's open to giving Trout some exposure to center field in the Cactus League, but the Angels plan on having the 34-year-old work at all three outfield spots this spring before deciding where to place him once the regular season gets underway. Jo Adell was the team's primary center fielder in 2025, but he rated poorly defensively and played more right field in the final two months.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Playing some center field possible

Angels general manager Perry Minasian said recently that he's not ruling out Trout playing some center field in 2026, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports. Trout was moved to right field at the beginning of the 2025 season, but he was a full-time designated hitter from late April on after suffering a bone bruise to his surgically repaired left knee. The three-time MVP has had a normal offseason and hopes to play the outfield in 2026, and Minasian said Trout is an option at all three outfield spots as well as DH. Trout's strikeout rate ballooned to 32 percent in 2025, but he made a late-season mechanical tweak and homered five times in his last seven games.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Working to return to outfield

Angels general manager Perry Minasian said Wednesday that Trout "is working his tail off to play the outfield again," Taylor Blake Ward of TheSportingTribune.com reports. Trout began the past season as the Angels' starting right fielder, but he was a full-time designated hitter after returning from a knee injury in late May. The 34-year-old is aiming to return to outfield duty in 2026, though he will likely still spend plenty of time in the DH slot, as well. Trout slashed .232/.359/.439 with 26 home runs in 2025 but saw his strikeout rate balloon to 32 percent.

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Ends 2025 season with homer

Trout smacked a solo home run during the Angels' 6-2 loss to the Astros on Sunday. Trout put the Angels on the board with a solo shot off Lance McCullers in the first inning before being replaced by Logan O'Hoppe in the third. Trout finished the season with a .798 OPS over 556 plate appearances, which was his lowest mark since the 2011 season (his first in the majors). However, the three-time AL MVP finished the 2025 campaign strong with five home runs over his last seven games and ended up playing in 130 games, his most since the 2019 season (134).

  • Angels' Mike Trout: Pops homer in loss

Trout went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Royals. Trout got the Angels within a run in the eighth inning with his homer, but the Royals responded with a four-run ninth. This was Trout's second long ball in his last four games. The outfielder has struggled a bit in September, even compared to the rest of the season, as he's hitting .211 (15-for-71) with 34 strikeouts over 21 games this month. On the year, he's batting .228 with a .772 OPS, 23 homers, 61 RBI, 69 runs scored and two stolen bases across 127 contests.
