  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Three hits Tuesday

Robles went 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the A's. It's Robles' second multi-hit effort in eight games since his return from the IL -- he's gone 6-for-19 (.316) with a pair of doubles and one steal overall. Robles' defense should afford him fairly regular playing time in Seattle, though he'll likely be limited to at-bats against left-handed pitching while platooning with Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Activated from injured list

The Mariners activated Robles (pectoral) from the 10-day injured list Friday. In a corresponding move, Seattle optioned Connor Joe to Triple-A Tacoma. Robles hasn't played at the big-league level since April 6 due to a strained right pec. He appeared in 12 games with Tacoma on a rehab assignment and slashed .256/.389/.349 with four doubles, seven RBI, 10 runs scored, two stolen bases and a 9:13 BB:K across 54 plate appearances. He's likely to see most of his at-bats against lefties with the Mariners.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Beginning rehab assignment Sunday

Robles (pectoral) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports. A strained right pectoral sent Robles to the injured list April 8, and he's now been cleared to return to a game environment after a few weeks of ramping up baseball activity. It's unclear exactly how long the Mariners plan to keep the 28-year-old in the minors, though he isn't expected to require a lengthy rehab assignment.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Doing light baseball work

Robles (pectoral) is participating in light baseball activities, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports. The 28-year-old landed on the shelf last week due to a right pectoral strain, and the Mariners are building him back up slowly since it's an injury to his throwing arm. Robles will be eligible to be reinstated Friday but seems likely to require a longer stint on the IL.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Shelved with pec strain

The Mariners placed Robles on the 10-day injured list Wednesday due to a right pectoral strain. Robles had served as Seattle's fourth outfielder to begin the season, starting in four of the team's first 12 games while going 3-for-13 with a double, a stolen base and an RBI. According to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times, Robles suffered the pec injury while making longer throws to the bases from the outfield as he was warming up prior to Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers. Seattle called up Connor Joe from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move to provide the bench with another right-handed-hitting option while Robles is on the shelf.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Four hits, homer vs. Guardians

Robles went 4-for-6 with a three-run homer, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's Cactus League matchup with the Guardians. It was an encouraging showing from Robles, who had been struggling mightily this spring. Coming into the day, the outfielder had gone just 2-for-24 in his first 12 Cactus League appearances. Robles should see steady playing time thanks to his defense, though he'll likely open the year in a short-side platoon role alongside lefty batters Dominic Canzone and Luke Raley. A shoulder injury limited Robles to just 32 regular-season appearances in 2025, and he slashed .245/.281/.330 with one homer and six stolen bases.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Checks back into spring lineup

Robles will serve as the Mariners' designated hitter and leadoff batter in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Brewers. Robles will start for the first time since last Sunday, after the Mariners held him out of action for the past six days due to a sore shoulder, per Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com. Assuming Robles' shoulder checks out fine following Sunday's contest, he could resume playing the outfield at some point during the upcoming week.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Likely stuck in short-side platoon

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Sunday that, "as a baseline," he expects Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone to start against right-handers and Rob Refsnyder and Robles to start versus lefties, Adam Jude of the Seattle Times reports. Hollander does not believe the team will employ a "hardcore platoon" in right field and at designated hitter, but as a general rule, the left-handed hitting Raley and Canzone will start most days versus righties and the left-handed hitting Refsnyder and Robles will be in there against southpaws. Robles missed much of the 2025 season with a dislocated shoulder, and when healthy, he had just an 84 wRC+ in the regular season versus righties.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Getting start in ALCS Game 7

Robles will start in right field and bat ninth in Monday's ALCS Game 7 in Toronto. It's the first start since ALCS Game 3 for Robles, who is 1-for-12 with a 1:4 K:BB during the series. Dominic Canzone will retreat to the bench for the Mariners in Monday's winner-take-all contest.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Idle for Game 4

Robles isn't in the lineup Thursday for Game 4 of the ALCS against the Blue Jays. Robles has gone just 3-for-26 (.115) in the postseason so far, so the Mariners will keep him on the bench Thursday. Dominic Canzone will take over in right field, moving Jorge Polanco into the DH spot and opening up second base for Leo Rivas.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: In lineup Saturday

Robles (shoulder) will start in right field and bat eighth in Saturday's ALDS Game 1 matchup against the Tigers. Robles sat out the Mariners' final few regular-season contests while nursing a left shoulder injury, but a first-round bye has given him enough time to recover and return for Game 1 of the ALDS. The 28-year-old outfielder has slashed .224/.278/.347 across 54 plate appearances since the beginning of September.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Rests shoulder Friday

Robles was scratched from Friday's lineup due to a minor shoulder issue, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports. Robles missed most of the season after dislocating his left shoulder April 6, and with the Mariners locking up the AL West, they opted to give him at least one day off to rest in advance of the postseason. He should be considered day-to-day.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Scratched from Friday's lineup

Robles (undisclosed) was scratched from the Mariners' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Friday. The reason for Robles' removal from the lineup has yet to be announced, but Dominic Canzone will start in right field and bat seventh. Robles entered Friday's game having gone 11-for-49 (.224) with two steals, eight runs, one homer and four RBI in the 18 games since returning from his seven-game suspension Sept. 6.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Falling behind Canzone vs. RHP

Robles is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game in Kansas City. Four of Robles' last five starts have come against left-handed pitching, as Dominic Canzone appears to have leapfrogged past Robles in right field versus right-handers. It will be Canzone in right field and batting seventh Thursday against righty Stephen Kolek.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Out of Sunday's lineup

Robles is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels. Robles started the previous two games and will hit the bench Sunday after going 1-for-6 with three strikeouts and a caught stealing. Dominic Canzone will start in right field and bat seventh against veteran righty Kyle Hendricks.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Sitting Thursday

Robles isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports. Robles will head to the bench for a second consecutive game Thursday after going 5-for-17 since coming back from his suspension. His absence will allow Luke Raley to start in right field while batting seventh.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Idle Wednesday

Robles isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals. Robles has gone 5-for-16 with three runs scored in four games since returning from his suspension, but the Mariners will give him a day to rest Wednesday while they send out Dominic Canzone to cover right field.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Third straight start in right field

Robles will start in right field and bat eighth in Monday's game versus the Cardinals. The right-handed-hitting Robles has started in all three of the Mariners' contests since being reinstated from a seven-game suspension, and Monday marks the second time he's faced a right-handed starter during that stretch. Robles has reached base twice in both of his first two games back from suspension and looks to have leapfrogged Dominic Canzone on the depth chart in right field.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Returns from suspension

The Mariners reinstated Robles (suspension) to the active roster Saturday. Robles was initially suspended 10 games after he threw his bat during a rehab game at Triple-A Tacoma, but his suspension was reduced to seven games following an appeal. Now that he's fulfilled his suspension, the 28-year-old will rejoin Seattle's outfield corps and presumably take on a regular role in right field.

  • Mariners' Victor Robles: Suspension trimmed to seven games

Robles' suspension has been reduced to seven games, and he will begin serving it Friday against the Guardians, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports. Robles got his suspension reduced from 10 games to seven with an appeal, and he'll begin serving the suspension Friday, meaning he'll be unavailable until Sept. 6. Robles' absence could mean more opportunities for Luke Raley.
