McKinstry went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 12-2 rout of the Diamondbacks.

The utility infielder smashed a two-run homer off Brandon Pfaadt in the fifth inning, one of three Detroit long balls in the frame. It was McKinstry's first multi-hit performance since July 9, ending a 12-game slump in which he's gone just 4-for-36 (.111). That downturn has put only a small dent in his career-best campaign, however, as the 30-year-old is still slashing .268/.349/.449 with nine homers, 16 steals, 36 RBI and 51 runs in 368 plate appearances.

Schneemann went 2-for-5 with a double, a steal and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

Schneemann notched only his second multi-hit game since June 26 and swiped his third bag this month after a single in the opening frame. He has a .444 on-base percentage over his last nine games, reaching base a total of 16 times, but is slashing just .221/.310/.381 with nine homers, 28 RBI, 33 runs, eight steals and a 31:68 BB:K in 278 plate appearances this season.

The Orioles signed Reetz to a minor-league contract Tuesday.

Reetz had been with Triple-A Syracuse in the Mets organization, where he slashed .197/.287/.470 with 11 home runs in 43 games before being released earlier this month. The 29-year-old will give the Orioles some experienced catching depth at Triple-A Norfolk.

Greene went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, three runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 12-2 rout of the Diamondbacks.

The 24-year-old helped break the game open with a two-run shot off Brandon Pfaadt in the fifth inning, one of three Detroit long balls in the frame. Greene has been struggling to find his swing since the All-Star break -- even with Tuesday's huge performance, he's slashing just .200/.217/.378 over the last 11 games with a 1:19 BBK -- so this breakout could be a sign he's heating up again. He's already established new career highs with 26 homers and 84 RBI through 106 contests on the season.

Manzardo went 3-for-4 with two homers, a walk and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

Manzardo posted the second multi-homer game of his career with a two-run blast in the third followed by a solo shot in the sixth. He's now hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, slashing .357/.429/.762 with five homers and 13 RBI over that span and is now up to 18 home runs and 46 RBI for the season.

Perez went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, four runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

The 25-year-old switch hitter smacked a double in his first at-bat of the night and basically never stopped running. The four runs were a career high for Perez, while the multi-hit performance was his first since July 11, snapping an 11-game swoon in which he'd gone just 5-for-38 (.132) with zero extra-base hits. On the season, Perez is slashing .246/.298/.455 with seven homers, five steals, 22 RBI and 28 runs in 49 contests.

Allen (7-9) earned the win over the Rockies on Tuesday, allowing two runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out three in seven innings.

Allen provided the Guardians with some much-needed length, going seven innings for the first time since July 24, 2023. He was staked to a seven-run lead by the third inning and kept the Guardians well in front by inducing plenty of week contact. Allen's only major blemishes were a pair of solo home runs, and he's now allowed three runs or fewer in eight of his last nine starts. He's down to a 4.06 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 81:40 K:BB in 108.2 innings and lines up to face the Mets on the road next week.

The Blue Jays optioned Estrada to Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

Estrada served as the 27th man during Tuesday's doubleheader in Detroit, getting knocked around for six runs over 3.1 innings in the first game. The righty will return to the rotation at Buffalo.

Mize escaped with a no-decision in Tuesday's 12-2 rout of the Diamondbacks, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks over just 1.2 innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander couldn't stick around long enough to benefit from the Tigers' offensive fireworks, throwing just 33 of 59 pitches for strikes before getting the hook in his shortest outing of the season. Mize has looked gassed over his last three starts, surrendering 13 runs (11 earned) in only 8.2 innings to send his ERA shooting up from 2.63 to 3.43, and his recent struggles may put pressure on the Detroit front office to further bolster the rotation at the trade deadline after acquiring Chris Paddack from Minnesota. Mize will try to find his prior form in his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against those same Twins.

Henderson went 4-for-8 with a walk, a double, a home run, four runs scored and four RBI across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of the Blue Jays.

Most of the shortstop's production came in a 16-4 rout during the matinee, including Henderson's 12th homer of the season -- a three-run shot off Chad Green in the seventh inning. The blast snapped a 15-game power drought for Henderson, but he's hardly been invisible during that stretch. Through 24 contests in July, the 24-year-old is slashing .306/.368/.518 with 13 of his 16 hits going for extra bases (10 doubles, a triple and two home runs) along with five steals, 13 RBI and 16 runs.
