Carpenter went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-3 win over the Twins.

Carpenter has been on a tear since coming off the injured list last week after missing about a month due to a strained hamstring, as he's now gone 8-for-20 with three home runs and six RBI across seven games. For the season, the 27-year-old is up to 19 long balls, putting him within one of his career high. So long as Carpenter stays healthy, he seems to be in a good position to produce big stats down the stretch.

Perez went 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run home run in Monday's 6-3 win over the Twins.

Perez hit his ninth home run of the season in the fifth inning, continuing his strong play as of late. The outfielder has gone 10-for-21 over his last six games with two home runs, two doubles, a triple and four RBI. Perez has also swiped two bases during the hot stretch, showing some nice fantasy versatility. The 25-year-old has been a bit up and down this year, though he seems to be trending upward recently, and he continues to see steady playing time in right field for a fairly reliable floor.

Slater (undisclosed) exited Monday's contest versus Texas as a result of left hamstring tightness, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Slater appears to have torqued his left hamstring while busting it down the line on a ground ball in the first inning. Depending on the severity of the injury, the outfielder could be forced to miss some action moving forward, and potentially even be placed on the injured list.

Slater (undisclosed) exited Monday's contest against the Rangers in the top of the first inning, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Slater was making his first start with the Yankees after being traded to the team July 30, but his day was cut short after grounding into a fielder's choice in the top of the first. The outfieler appeared to have come up lame after running down the baseline, and more information on his status will likely come in the near future. In the meantime, Jasson Dominguez replaced him in left field versus Texas.

Anthony was scratched from Monday's starting lineup against Kansas City due to mid-back tightness, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

This appears to be a day-to-day situation for Anthony, who was in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak entering Monday. Masataka Yoshida could see more at-bats in the DH slot until Anthony is cleared to return.

Garcia (back) is expected to be available out of the bullpen for Monday's game against the Yankees, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Garcia suffered a mid-back spasm during his most recent appearance in Saturday's extra-inning win over the Mariners, resulting in him making an early exit. The 29-year-old underwent an MRI, which showed no structural damage. The reliever appears to have avoided any significant injury as a result and looks like he'll be ready to go for the series opener versus New York after getting Sunday off to recover.

Simpson (finger) felt healthy while taking swings in the batting cages Monday and expects to be ready to return for the second game of the series Tuesday against the Angels, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Simpson will miss his fourth straight matchup Monday due to a lingering left finger injury, but a return is on the horizon. If all goes according to plan, the 24-year-old should see his name penciled into the starting nine Tuesday evening.

Osuna is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Osuna was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday and started in left field in the Rangers' final two games of their series with the Mariners, going 1-for-5 with a walk. With Wyatt Langford shifting over to center field following Evan Carter's (back) placement on the injured list Saturday, the left-handed-hitting Osuna could occupy the strong side of a platoon in left field. Osuna will give way to the switch-hitting Sam Haggerty on Monday while southpaw Max Fried takes the hill for the Yankees.

Anthony was scratched from the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Royals due to an undisclosed injury, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Anthony was removed from the starting nine minutes before first pitch, and the team has yet to provide more information on the reason behind his absence. Wilyer Abreu will bat third and man right field in Anthony's stead.

Abreu will start in right field and bat third Monday against the Royals, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

With southpaw Bailey Falter on the bump for Kansas City, the left-handed-hitting Abreu had been excluded from the Red Sox's initial lineup. However, after Roman Anthony was scratched prior to the 7:10 p.m. ET opening pitch, Abreu was a late addition to the starting nine. Abreu is slashing just .191/.269/.319 with with one home run in 53 plate appearances versus lefties this season.
