Pratt was removed Sunday from Triple-A Nashville's game against Durham prior to the sixth inning and will be recalled prior to the Brewers' next game Tuesday against the Guardians, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The 21-year-old's eventual promotion to the majors seemed inevitable at some point in 2026, after he signed an eight-year, $50 million extension with Milwaukee in early April. Though Pratt has posted a modest .735 OPS at Triple-A this season, he's been running hot since mid-May, batting .281 with four home runs and six stolen bases while walking at a 10.1 percent clip over his last 25 games with Nashville. Pratt has played exclusively at shortstop since 2024, so the Brewers could have him displace Joey Ortiz (.561 OPS over 170 plate appearances on the season) as their primary option at the position.

The Twins designated Arcia for assignment following Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals, Audra Martin of Twins.tv reports.

Arcia had his contract selected from Triple-A St. Paul on May 19 and produced a .271/.300/.354 slash line with one home run, two RBI and six runs in 19 contests with Minnesota. Minnesota will call up outfielder Kyler Fedko from Triple-A St. Paul to replace Arcia on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster.

Seager (ribs/jaw) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Seager will be held out of the starting nine for a third straight day while he contends with ribs and jaw soreness stemming from a collision at home plate in Thursday's win over the Royals. Per MLB.com, manager Skip Schumaker relayed Saturday that Seager's condition has improved, but it's unclear if the five-time All-Star will be available off the bench for the series finale. Ezequiel Duran will cover shortstop in place of Seager on Sunday.

Walls is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

The Rays will give Walls a rest after he started at shortstop each of the past three days while going a collective 4-for-8 with two walks, two stolen bases, one run and one RBI. Ben Williamson will cover shortstop in Walls' stead in the series finale.

Winn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Rookie JJ Wetherholt will slide over from his usual spot at second base to make his first MLB start at shortstop. Winn had started the last five games, going 3-for-20 with a double, a stolen base, two walks, four runs and two RBI during that stretch.

Ortiz will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Ortiz will stick in the starting nine for the seventh time in eight games while he's maintained a serviceable .280/.357/.400 slash line thus far in June. With Ortiz's playing time on the upswing, Luis Rengifo has been the odd man out on the left side of the infield.

Wilson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

The 24-year-old returned from the injured list Friday and will receive a day off after going 1-for-7 with a walk, two RBI and one run in his first two games back from a dislocated left shoulder. With Wilson on the bench, Alika Williams will take over at shortstop and bat ninth in Sunday's series finale.

Rojas said that he's available off the bench for Sunday's game against the White Sox after aggravating a right shin injury Saturday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The veteran infielder didn't start Saturday but entered the game in the top of the fifth inning as a pinch hitter for Alex Freeland. Rojas noted that he initially hurt his shin during the Dodgers' previous series in Pittsburgh, and he tweaked it again Saturday while grounding out. He was able to stay in the game on defense but got pulled in the top of the seventh after reaching base on a walk. Rojas told Plunkett that he elected to pull himself from the game because he didn't want to be further compromised while Yoshinobu Yamamoto was in the midst of a perfect game. Rojas doesn't expect his shin to be a serious concern.

Mateo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.

With Freddy Peralta on the bump for New York, Mateo will head to the bench for a second straight matchup with a right-handed pitcher. Atlanta should still be able to find room for the right-handed hitter against lefties, but Mauricio Dubon and Ha-Seong Kim look to be ahead of Mateo on the shortstop depth chart.

Tovar (calf) will start at shortstop and bat fifth Sunday against the Athletics.

Tovar was held out of the starting nine for the first two games of the series in Las Vegas due to left calf soreness, but the 24-year-old was available off the bench for Saturday's 7-5 loss. Though Tovar ultimately went unused in that contest, he'll settle back in at his usual spot at shortstop in the series finale. Tovar has gotten off to a rough start to June, producing just five hits in 33 at-bats (.152) while posting a 1:15 BB:K over eight games.
