Correa (shoulder) is out of the lineup Friday against the Cubs, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa missed the last two games with left shoulder inflammation, and though manager A.J. Hinch expressed optimism that the 21-year-old would be able to return to the lineup during the weekend set against the Cubs, it won't be for the series opener on Friday. It appears as though the shortstop is still eyeing a return in the upcoming series though, while Alex Bregman figures to be a likely candidate to receive the starts in Correa's place should he miss any more time.

Arcia went 3-for-5 with a homer and three runs against the Cardinals on Thursday.

The well-regarded prospect started off quite slowly, notching just a .184/.259/.296 line over his first 28 games. But he's been coming on over the last six games, going 10-for-21 with two doubles, a triple, a homer and a 4:2 BB:K. That's good stuff, but don't get overly excited -- as great as Arcia's potential is, he didn't even put up big numbers in Triple-A this year. Stay patient with him in keeper formats; in yearly leagues, there may be better options available off the wire.

Mondesi is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Twins, FOX Sports Kansas City's Joel Goldberg reports.

Mondesi is a joy to watch in the field, but he has been completely overmatched so far at the plate. The rookie is hitting .179/.227/.268 with one home run, seven steals and a 32 percent K-rate in 125 plate appearances. Whit Merrifield will man the keystone and hit eighth Wednesday.

Correa is dealing with inflammation in his left shoulder and will return to Houston to visit with team doctors, Biran McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Manager A.J. Hinch referred to Correa as "a little beat up right now" and intimated that the shortstop may have aggravated his shoulder while making a diving play earlier in the week. Correa will head back to Houston on Wednesday for further evaluation, but Hinch noted that he expects Correa to be back with the team Friday, though it's unclear when, exactly, he might return to the lineup. "We're optimistic that he's going to be able to play this weekend against the Cubs at some point," Hinch said. Alex Bregman will get the nod at shortstop Wednesday in Correa's place.

Rojas (groin) remains out of the lineup Wednesday, according to Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald.

Rojas is not a regular for the Marlins and often comes off the bench, so the extent of his setback is not certain. However, he has not played since exiting early Monday, so he is presumably still not 100 percent.

It'll be a rare day of rest for Correa, who hasn't been out of the lineup since June 10-12 against the Rays. He'll be replaced at shortstop by Alex Bregman on Wednesday, and it would be a major surprise if Correa isn't back in action for Thursday's series finale, barring some sort of injury.

Swanson went 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park home run and three RBI in the Braves' 9-6 loss at the hands of the Nationals.

The home run was Swanson's first of his big league career, and came about because Nationals center fielder Trea Turner, a converted shortstop, badly misplayed a bounce off the wall. Still, Swanson will take it, as it's his first home run as a big leaguer and just his 11th at any professional level. The highly-touted rookie is now hitting .254/.297/.339 after 16 games with the Braves this season.

Rojas (groin) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies, according to Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald.

Rojas started Monday for the second straight day, but he also left the contest early after injuring his groin. It's not yet clear how long he will be out, but he will be given at least one day to rest and recover. Adeiny Hechavarria will man the shortstop position for the Marlins on Tuesday night

Seager scored twice, drove in three runs and hit his 24th home run in a 3-for-5 game Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Seager went on a power tear in August, with seven doubles, five home runs and a .552 slugging percentage over 27 games last month. It looks like he's ready for more of the same in September. Seager's season slugging percentage is up to .535, second only to Manny Machado among qualified shortstops.

Turner went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double, and three RBI in a Nationals 6-4 victory over the Braves on Monday.

Turner's blast came with one runner on during the Nationals' five-run third inning that chased young Atlanta starter Ryan Weber. The strong performance comes on the heels of being named Rookie of the Month of August, and raised his batting line to .343/.362/.539. Turner continues to prove that he's much more than just a speed guy, with 22 extra-base hits in just 48 games on the season.
