Bichette has gone 3-for-10 with a double and three RBI in two games with High-A Dunedin since his return from an ankle injury.

The Blue Jays took an extra-cautious route with Bichette, holding him out for nine days due to a mild ankle sprain. He hasn't missed a beat since his return and is now batting .341/.392/.44 with Dunedin after slashing .384/.448/.623 in 70 games with Low-A Lancaster to begin the campaign. The 19-year-old has been one of the biggest risers among prospects this season, and with his combination of pedigree and tools, there's a chance he could be a consensus top-10 prospect at this time next year.

Baez went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Thursday's loss to the Reds.

Baez is rolling this month with a .305/.337/.598 slash line, and he's failed to record a hit just three times in 21 games. The 24-year-old has already set career highs in runs, home runs and RBI, and his ability to play multiple positions makes him an attractive option for the Cubs and fantasy owners alike down the stretch.

Lindor went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Thursday's 13-6 win over Boston.

Lindor unsurprisingly played an important role in his team's offensive explosion, chipping in an RBI single in the second inning and a solo homer in the seventh. The 23-year-old shortstop has hit three long balls in his past five games, raising his season total to 22. Lindor would be having an even better year if his career-low .275 BABIP was more in line with his career .313 mark.

Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with a triple, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored Thursday in Cleveland.

Bogaerts and Mitch Moreland drove in all of Boston's runs in the 13-6 loss, with the shortstop doing his damage with a two-run triple in the fourth inning. Bogaerts has five triples this year after mustering only one in 2016, but his home-run total has dropped from 21 to seven.

Seager is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against the Pirates, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Seager receives a rare day off -- his first since the All-Star break -- as Enrique Hernandez gets the nod at shortstop. The 23-year-old will likely be back in the lineup against the Brewers on Friday and is hitting .338/.390/.517 since the break.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Wednesday that Ahmed (hand) could soon move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Reno, Danny Knobler of MLB.com reports.

As he attempts to work his way back from a fractured right hand, the shortstop has already appeared in three rehab games for the Diamondbacks' rookie-level Arizona League club, going 0-for-7 with two walks in those contests. Though Ahmed hasn't found much success at the plate, Lovullo said that all reports he's received have been encouraging, particularly with how the 27-year-old has looked in the field. Ahmed plans to meet with the Diamondbacks when they return to Arizona following Thursday's road series finale with the Mets, at which point the rest of his rehab assignment should be mapped out.

Gordon is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Gordon heads to the bench after starting the past nine games at the keystone, slashing .225/.244/.250 and scoring 10 runs during that span. In his place, Mike Aviles draws the assignment at second base.

Seager extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a three-hit performance in Wednesday's loss to the Pirates.

The slugging shortstop only has one extra-base hit during his current streak, but fantasy owners aren't complaining as he continues to carry them -- as he has all season -- in the batting-average department. Seager has a good shot at surpassing last year's career-high 14-game hitting streak with three right-handed starters next on the docket.

Camargo (knee) is expected to begin a rehab assignment next week, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

As long as he doesn't have any setbacks, Camargo could be in line to come off the disabled list in early September. However, he may not return to being Atlanta's everyday option at shortstop, as Dansby Swanson has taken advantage of Camargo's absence and improved his performance at the plate.

Correa (thumb) will start his rehab assignment with Triple-A Fresno on Thursday, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.

Correa was able to take batting practice with the Astros on Tuesday, and said that he will need 20-to-30 at-bats during his rehab assignment before returning to the team. That will likely place his return right around the beginning of September following a week of appearances with Fresno, barring any setbacks.
