Adames went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in a 9-4 loss against the Twins on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old has been very inconsistent lately. He posted a five-game hitting streak last week, but after going 3-for-4 on Friday, Adames went 0-for-7 over the next two games. The multi-hit game Tuesday, though, has his average back above .250. He is hitting .253 with eight home runs, 22 RBI, 32 runs and three steals in 257 at-bats this season.

Rojas went 2-for-3 with a HBP and a double before being ejected from Tuesday's 6-1 loss to the Nationals.

It's not entirely clear what Rojas said to warrant his eighth-inning ejection, as he was in the dugout at the time after striking out, but his issues with home plate umpire Mike Estabrook apparently extended back to a blown check-swing call in his first at-bat. He's unlikely to face additional league discipline -- a good thing for the Marlins, considering the shortstop's .333/.415/.444 slash line over his last 20 games.

Anderson had X-rays come back negative and was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle after leaving Tuesday's game at Boston.

Anderson sustained the injury fielding a grounder behind second base and did not put any weight on his right leg as he was helped off the diamond. The 26-year-old will be re-evaluated Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury, but it seems unlikely he'll be available for the series finale against the Red Sox and a trip to the injured list wouldn't be surprising.

Turner went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Marlins.

His fourth-inning blast off Trevor Richards capped the scoring on the night for the Nats, putting the game well out of reach with Max Scherzer in Cy Young form for Washington. Turner's now slashing .280/.337/.500 through 39 games with six homers, 13 steals, 19 RBI and 28 runs.

Anderson was helped off the field Tuesday after suffering an apparent right ankle injury, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Anderson made a lunging play behind second base and appeared to tweak his right ankle as he prepared to make the cross-body throw to first base. The 26-year-old put no weight on his right leg while he was assisted off the field. Anderson went 2-for-3 with a run scored prior to exiting the game.

Manager Dave Roberts said the team hopes Seager (hamstring) will rejoin the Dodgers right after the All-Star break in Boston, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Seager has resumed running and swinging a bat over the last few days and should now begin to ramp up his baseball activities. The 25-year-old was already expected to play in rehab games prior to the All-Star break, so it's no surprise the team is looking for him to return immediately after the midseason festivities.

Adrianza (abdomen) is expected to return from the injured list soon after he's first eligible Thursday, Chad Graff of The Atheletic Minnesota reports.

Adrianza hit the injured list last Tuesday with an unspecified abdominal issue. He should return to a bench role once he's ready to go.

Crawford (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Colorado, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The issue was described as mild, so it's no big surprise to see him back after missing just one game. He'll bat seventh and start at shortstop.

Velazquez (thumb) went 1-for-3 in Tuesday's win over Charlotte and is now 3-for-9 with three strikeouts since his return from the injured list.

A thumb sprain put Velazquez on the IL in early June and cost him a little more than two weeks. Velazquez is batting .273/.326/.453 with four homers and two steals (five attempts) through 33 games with Durham this season; those numbers are underwhelming in a vacuum and particularly lackluster when considering Velazquez is about to turn 25. He remains on Tampa Bay's 40-man roster, for now.

Swanson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's loss to the Cubs.

The long ball was his 15th of the year, establishing a new career high for the shortstop. Swanson's slashing .269/.358/.505 in June as he marches toward a breakout 2019.
