Seager (hamstring) will run in a straight line Monday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Seager noted that his hamstring no longer hurts when he walks, clearing the way for the shortstop to pick up a running program. The 25-year-old also hit off a tee over the weekend and was spotted playing light catch last week. Assuming he continues to progress without any setbacks, Seager is expected to begin a minor-league rehab assignment before the All-Star break.

Crawford is not in the lineup Monday against the Rockies due to right hamstring tightness, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

The issue is being described as mild, and Crawford will be available off the bench if needed. Donovan Solano is starting at shortstop in place of Crawford, who should be considered day-to-day.

Bichette went 4-for-5 with a double and a stolen base Sunday in Triple-A Buffalo's 8-1 win over Norfolk.

The four-hit performance was Bichette's first at the Triple-A level and is the latest in a growing list of strong offensive showings for the 21-year-old. Since rejoining Buffalo on June 13 after missing nearly two months with a fractured left hand, Bichette is slashing .342/.375/.605 with six extra-base hits and two steals in nine games. A promotion to the big leagues in 2019 remains in play for Bichette, though it's not a certainty with the rebuilding Blue Jays organization perhaps eager to delay his service clock.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a run in a win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Gordon put together a solid outing to snap out of what had been a 2-for-20 funk that had encompassed his prior six games. The speedster is still trying to get back up to speed at the plate after missing a total of 20 games since May 21 due to wrist issues, and perhaps Sunday's multi-hit effort will serve as the impetus for improvement.

Fletcher went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs and two RBI in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals.

Fletcher has managed just one extra-base hit over his last 17 games, but his stellar contact skills have aided him to a .293 average for the season. The Los Angeles infield is set to get more crowded soon with Andrelton Simmons (ankle) nearing a return from the injured list, but Luis Rengifo looks more likely than Fletcher to lose out on an everyday role as a result.

Turner went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

The shortstop is now slashing .280/.352/.524 through 20 games in June with three homers, five steals, nine RBI and 17 runs scored. Turner is healthy again, and his five-category profile points toward a big second half for the 25-year-old at the top of a resurgent Nats offense.

Story (thumb) said it's "possible" he could return from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Saturday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Story landed on the injured list last week with a sprained and bruised right thumb, an injury he suffered while sliding into second base. Manager Bud Black said the shortstop was originally expected to miss "a couple of weeks" due to the injury, but Story took grounders over the weekend and is now hoping to rejoin the Rockies after a minimum stay on the shelf. "As a player, that's obviously my goal," Story said before adding that he won't rush himself back. "But we are going to be smart about it. I'm going to listen to my body."

Crawford finished 4-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored during Sunday's 13-3 win over the Orioles.

Crawford helped his side build a big early lead with a solo home run in the first inning and a two-run single in the third. He later added a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, giving him his first four-RBI game at the MLB level. Crawford came in with just one multi-hit game in his last eight, and he'll look to use this outburst for momentum in the next series on the road against Milwaukee.

Franco was promoted from Low-A Bowling Green to High-A Charlotte on Sunday, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.

Franco will get his first taste of High-A after facing little resistance at Low-A, slashing .318/.390/.506 with six homers, 14 stolen bases and a 30:20 BB:K in 62 games with the Hot Rods. If he continues to excel at the next level, the highly-regarded youngster could potentially make his way to Double-A before the end of the season. According to Josh Tolentino of The Athletic, the 18-year-old Franco will join the Stone Crabs ahead of Tuesday's game against Ft. Myers.

Wendle went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Sunday's 8-2 win over Oakland.

It looks like Wendle is finally getting settled in, going 5-for-9 over the last two games. Prior to that, he was just 4-for-46 (.087) to start the year while battling a couple of trips to the injured list.
