Baez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Reds.

Baez hit one of the five Chicago home runs but it wasn't enough to avoid a wild, 10-inning loss to the Reds. The dynamic shortstop is starting to get going, as he now has hits in eight straight games. Baez has three home runs and 10 RBI during the hitting streak.

Story exited Sunday's game against Arizona in the bottom of the eighth inning due to an apparent finger injury, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Story was hit by a pitch on his right index finger in the top of the eighth inning Sunday, and he was replaced defensively in the bottom half of the frame. Prior to his departure, he went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a strikeout. It's not clear whether Story will be able to return for Monday's series opener against the Giants.

Rojas didn't play during Sunday's loss to the Nationals due to tightness in his hamstring and hip, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

It appears to be a minor injury, but by sitting Sunday the 32-year-old will receive two days to recover with Monday's scheduled off day. Rojas should be considered day-to-day entering Tuesday's series opener against the Diamondbacks.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk and a run in a loss to the Angels on Saturday.

Crawford continues to shrug off his typical slotting at the lowest rungs of the lineup to generate solid production, with Saturday's multi-hit effort pushing his season average and on-base percentage to a solid .264 and .330, respectively. Crawford has also managed a respectable eight RBI despite his unfavorable spot in the order by slashing .318/.348/.500 over 23 plate appearances with men in scoring position.

Crawford (calf) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The 34-year-old will sit for the second straight contest after suffering a left calf bruise when hit by a pitch during Friday's game. Mauricio Dubon will receive another start at shortstop with Crawford sidelined.

Ahmed is out of the lineup Sunday versus Colorado.

Ahmed started the the past seven games and will take a seat Sunday after going 7-for-25 with three doubles, two RBI and four runs during that stretch. Josh Rojas will start at shortstop and bat sixth in the series finale for Arizona.

Chang is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Chang had started at first base in each of Cleveland's last three games, but two of those starts came against left-handed pitchers. He'll take a seat Sunday with a righty (Lucas Giolito) on the hill for Chicago, allowing Jake Bauers to pick up a turn at first base. Chang looks like he'll remain in a short-side platoon role for the foreseeable future.

Rojas is out of the lineup Sunday at Washington, Joe Frisaro of ManOnSecondBaseball.com reports.

Rojas started the last six games but will receive a breather Sunday after going 3-for-23 during that stretch. Jose Devers will start at shortstop and bat seventh for Miami in the series finale.

Turner went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and a run Saturday in the Nationals' 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Turner is now a perfect 7-for-7 on stolen-base attempts this season, with his total placing him only one behind the Athletics' Ramon Laureano and the Royals' Whit Merrifield for the MLB lead. The shortstop has supplemented the stolen-base production with six home runs through 97 plate appearances, putting him well on pace to surpass his previous career high (19 in 2018 and 2019) in the category.

Edman went 4-for-6 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 12-5 win over the Pirates.

The switch hitter continues to thrive at the top of the Cards' order. Edman has gone 12-for-34 (.353) over the last eight games, pushing his slash line on the season to .295/.347/.402 with two homers, four steals, six RBI and 14 runs through 27 contests.
