Anderson went 3-for-5 with a run scored Friday against Boston.

Anderson didn't do much damage with his three knocks, but he now has six multi-hit performances in his last 11 starts. He's collected three home runs, four RBI and 11 runs scored in that span. Overall, Anderson has maintained an excellent .330 average while striking out at just an 11 percent clip across 91 plate appearances to begin the campaign.

Correa (finger) underwent a CT scan Friday that didn't reveal a fracture, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Correa was initially believed to be dealing with a non-displaced fracture in his right middle finger after being hit by a pitch Thursday against the Orioles, but the finger is ultimately just bruised and sore. President of baseball operations Derek Falvey said the shortstop is considered day-to-day for now, so it's possible he'll avoid a trip to the injured list. Royce Lewis was called up from Triple-A St. Paul and will start at shortstop Friday against the Athletics.

Barrero (hand) suffered a setback in his recovery, though he's back to where he was prior to the setback, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Barrero played the field in extended spring games in late April but had to back off for a bit. He's able to take the field again now, but he's still a few steps away from being ready to return.

Bichette went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in Thursday's loss to the Guardians.

The shortstop has suddenly sprung to life at the plate, hitting safely in six straight games while going 11-for-24 (.458) with a homer, a steal, five runs and five RBI. Bichette's .254/.280/.377 slash line on the season remains well below expectations, but the 24-year-old is more than capable of staying hot for a couple weeks and boosting those numbers significantly.

Lindor went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Phillies.

The shortstop took James Norwood deep in the top of the ninth inning, kicking off a stunning rally from a 7-1 deficit. Lindor snapped a 13-game homer drought with the blast, a stretch during which he managed a poor .176/.246/.196 slash line. Despite the slump dragging his batting average down to .241, the 28-year-old still has five homers, three steals, 16 runs and 17 RBI through 28 contests.

Story went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts in Thursday's 8-0 loss to the Angels.

Story built momentum over the previous three games but Shohei Ohtani put an end to that, handing the second baseman a golden sombrero. The Fenway faithful let Story know they were not pleased with the performance, per Christopher Smith of MassLive.com, but his teammates and manager have his back. Story is batting .210 with a .293 OBP, .296 SLG and .589 OPS over 21 games. He's still seeking his first home run.

Edman went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and three RBI in Thursday's 7-1 victory over the Giants.

Edman once again served as a catalyst atop the order for the Cardinals, finishing with his seventh multi-hit performance of the campaign and producing a season-best three RBI. The second baseman knocked in a pair of runs with a single in the fifth inning and drove home another run with a single in the seventh. Edman could be on his way to a breakout campaign, as he's slashing .325/.429/.494 with three homers, 14 RBI, 17 runs and six stolen bases across 99 plate appearances.

Pena went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a 3-2 win Thursday over Detroit.

Pena homered off Tarik Skubal to lead off the fifth inning and give Houston a 2-0 lead. After a rough 11-game stretch where he went 4-for-40 with 15 strikeouts, the rookie is 4-for-10 with two homers and five RBI. 10 of his 20 hits have gone for extra bases, and the 24-year-old has posted a .500 SLG despite only batting .233.

Correa appears to have suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right middle finger after being hit by a pitch Thursday against Baltimore, Megan Ryan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

It was originally reported that Correa's X-rays came back clean, though the team issued a clarification. Correa will receive a CT scan Friday to confirm the diagnosis, though it appears that he is in line for a lengthy absence even if he avoids surgery. Nick Gordon figures to see an uptick in playing time in the short term, though Correa's absence could also mean that Jose Miranda has a clearer path to everyday playing time even once Alex Kirilloff (wrist) and Luis Arraez (illness) return.

Mateo went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a triple in a 5-3 win Thursday over Minnesota.

Mateo tied the game 3-3 with a leadoff homer in the fifth inning and added a two-out triple in the seventh. After having only one multi-hit game in April, he has two in May and is 5-for-18 with four extra-base hits to start the month. The speedy shortstop hasn't hit for much power in the big leagues but did have as many as 19 homers in a season in the minors. If he's able to hit for some power to go along with his stolen base skills, he could be a valuable piece for the Orioles moving forward.
