Ahmed went 2-for-5 with an RBI double and a run scored in Sunday's 9-5 loss in Milwaukee.

A day after breaking up Chase Anderson's no-hit bid, Ahmed added two hits in Milwaukee. His RBI double in the eighth inning jump-started a four-run rally for the Diamondbacks, though the deficit proved to be too large. Ahmed has tallied a hit in 12 of his last 16 games, hitting .327 over that stretch.

Story is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports Rocky Mountain reports.

Story has started all four games since his Wednesday return from a shoulder injury but will give way to the left-handed-hitting Alexi Amarista on Sunday afternoon. Since rejoining the fold, Story is 4-for-14 with two doubles and a home run, collecting a base knock in each of those starts.

Cordoba will start in left field and lead off in Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Corboda will assume leadoff duties for the fourth game in a row and could end up sticking atop the lineup for an extended period with Manuel Margot (calf) facing an uncertain return date. The Rule 5 pickup hasn't shown a standout power or speed tool in his rookie season, but he's been able to turn in competitive at-bats, as his .301 average and .348 on-base percentage show. He might be worthy of a pickup in NL-only leagues or deeper mixed leagues where available while Margot remains out.

Baez will hit atop the order Sunday against the Dodgers.

Baez hit from the leadoff spot earlier this week but was bumped back down in the order in his subsequent starts. With Ben Zobrist (wrist) still ailing, however, Baez will get another chance to set the table. He owns a .819 OPS against left-handed pitching this year, and 13 of his 22 RBI have came against southpaws, both numbers that work in his favor matching up against tough left-hander Clayton Kershaw.

Owings is not in the lineup Sunday against the Brewers.

Owings started the first three games of the series for the Diamondbacks but will give way to Nick Ahmed at shortstop for the matchup against Jimmy Nelson. The utility man certainly isn't sitting for performance-related reasons, as Owings is riding a four-game hitting streak that has increased his season OPS over 20 points to .856.

DeJong was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday, Jim Hayes of Fox Sports Midwest reports.

DeJong will get the call in the wake of infielder Kolten Wong's placement on the disabled list due to an elbow strain. Though Greg Garcia will draw the start Sunday against the Rockies, DeJong is a candidate to see reps at the keystone for the duration of Wong's absence. Over 170 at-bats at Memphis this year, DeJong owns a .873 OPS with a team-high 11 home runs. He's seen reps at second, third and shortstop this season, so the 23-year-old's versatility could come in handy if any other St. Louis regulars need a day off.

Gordon is not in the lineup Sunday against the Angels.

Gordon has made 21 starts in a row for the Marlins, but won't see the starting lineup after a 1-for-4 day at the plate Saturday. In his place, Christian Colon will man the keystone, while J.T. Riddle is tabbed for the leadoff spot.

Baez went 1-for-3 in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Dodgers.

Despite a drop to eighth in the order, Baez managed to notch one of the Cubs' only two hits on the night against Alex Wood and a pair of relievers. The 24-year-old has broken out in May after a slow start to the season, slashing .311/.325/.595 with six homers and 17 RBI.

Gordon went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Friday's win over the Angels.

The second baseman now has five multi-hit performances in his last six games, putting up a blistering .481/.500/.630 slash line during that stretch with five runs, three RBI and two steals. Gordon is streaky and hits tend to come in bunches for him, so consider him a strong DFS option while he remains locked in.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo homer Friday against the Padres.

Turner launched his fifth homer of the season to put the Nationals on the board in the first inning of a winning effort. Other than his 11 steals, his subpar hitting has been a source of frustration for fantasy owners who paid a premium price to acquire him on draft day.
