Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Turner has been bothered by a sore calf over the past few days, but the shortstop remains "playable," Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Turner certainly didn't appear bothered by the calf issue Tuesday, as he started both games of the team's doubleheader and went 3-for-8 with a home run, two runs and five RBI. He was replaced with a pinch runner in the sixth inning of the nightcap, but that was largely due to the fact that the Dodgers were ahead 11-2 at the time. The injury appears to be very minor, and it's unlikely that it will cause Turner to miss time going forward, though it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get a rest day at some point since he's started 13 games over the past 11 days.

Adames (ankle) isn't expected to return before Saturday's game against Washington, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Adames sprained his left ankle Sunday against the Marlins. While he's avoided the injured list for now, the Brewers have yet to write off the possibility. He'll wind up missing at least five days and could miss at least 10 if he shows no improvement Wednesday.

Barrero (hand) could start a rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville later this week, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Barrero has been out all year after undergoing surgery on the hamate bone in his left hand in late March. He was originally given a six-week timetable but hit a setback in early May. He's making progress again, however, so while he's already missed his originally timeline, his return doesn't appear to be too far off.

Camargo is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

Camargo will head to the bench after going 4-for-16 with a home run, a double and a walk over a stretch of four consecutive starts. Two of those starts came at shortstop, where he'll likely see the bulk of his opportunities in the short term while Didi Gregorius (knee) is on the injured list. However, rookie Bryson Stott will get the nod at shortstop Tuesday at Camargo's expense.

Adames (ankle) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, and Brewers president of baseball operations David Stearns said the shortstop could still require a stint on the 10-day injured list, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Adames sat out Monday's 1-0 win with the left ankle sprain, an injury that previously forced him out of Sunday's 7-3 victory over the Marlins. Though he'll give way to Luis Urias at shortstop for the second day in a row, Adames showed enough improvement upon reporting to the ballpark Tuesday for the Brewers to push back an IL decision until Wednesday, according to Stearns. That being said, Stearns noted that a trip to the IL is "still on the table" for Adames, who may need to resume baseball activities in some capacity Wednesday to avoid being deactivated for at least the next week.

Strange-Gordon will be on the bench for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Strange-Gordon seems to be moving ahead of Alcides Escobar on the shortstop depth chart, as he started five of the last seven games there prior to Tuesday's contest. Escobar will get the nod this time, however, and the pair could continue to split time fairly evenly going forward.

Perdomo started at shortstop and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Perdomo stepped in for Nick Ahmed, who was added to the injured list Monday for an undisclosed reason. The rookie infielder should see most of the work at shortstop while Ahmed is unavailable.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Ahmed's "shoulder is feeling fine," despite recent news that it flared up in recent days, and stressed it's not the reason the shortstop landed on the IL. So, if it's not the shoulder, then it could be COVID-related. Geraldo Perdomo is expected to see the bulk of the playing time at short while Ahmed is sidelined.

Manager Craig Counsell said Monday that Adames (ankle) could require a trip to the injured list, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Adames underwent X-rays that came back negative Sunday, but he's still feeling sore and will visit with team doctors Monday night. He's out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta, but the team could choose to give him additional time to recover. If Adames requires a trip to the injured list, Luis Urias and Mike Brosseau would likely see additional time at shortstop, while Pablo Reyes would be a candidate to join the major-league roster.

Ahmed isn't starting Monday against the Dodgers.

Ahmed started in the last two games and went 2-for-6 with an RBI and two strikeouts. Geraldo Perdomo will take his place at shortstop and bat seventh.
