  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Brewers' Willy Adames: Collects multi-hit performance

Adames went 2-for-4 in Game 3 of the NLDS against Atlanta on Monday.

Adames got on base with a pair of singles, but his club was unable to capitalize, as Milwaukee was shut out for the second consecutive contest. He's now 4-for-12 with a double and six strikeouts over the first three games of the NLDS.

  • Giants' Brandon Crawford: Homers in Game 1

Crawford went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLDS.

Crawford was one of three Giants to go yard Friday as the team cruised to a win in Game 1 of the NLDS. The 34-year-old has now recorded hits in nine of his last 10 games, batting .289 with four home runs, a double, nine runs, eight RBI and a stolen base during that time.

  • Ronny Mauricio SS | NYM

Mets' Ronny Mauricio: Awarded for High-A performance

Mauricio was named the High-A East's Top MLB Prospect and also made the circuit's All-Star squad.

A .242/.290/.449 batting line isn't much to write home about, but it's good for a 20-year-old in High-A ball, and he showed noteworthy grit by working his way out of a lengthy early-season slump that lasted from late May to mid-July. He also didn't look daunted after getting promoted to Double-A, batting .323/.364/.452 across eight games there to close out the campaign. Expect Mauricio to open next season in Double-A, where he'll be expected to continue working on trimming his strikeout rate while getting to his power consistently in game action.

  • Tommy Edman LF | LAD

Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Scores lone run in loss

Edman went 3-for-5 with a pair of steals and a run scored in Wednesday's wild-card loss to the Dodgers.

Edman led off the game with a single, stole second, advanced to third on a foul out and came around to score on a wild pitch. That proved to be all the runs the Cardinals could manage in their 3-1 defeat, though Edman certainly did his part, accounting for three of the team's five hits.

  • C.J. Abrams SS | WAS

Padres' CJ Abrams: Joins AFL roster

The Padres included Abrams (lower leg) on their Arizona Fall League roster released Wednesday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

The 21-year-old shortstop prospect saw his 2021 minor-league season come to an end in late June, when he sustained a fractured left tibia and sprained MCL while playing for Double-A San Antonio. Abrams has since resumed rehabbing at the Padres' spring facility in Peoria, Ariz., and he could be cleared to appear in games in the AFL if he continues to progress well in his recovery. Before sustaining the season-ending injury, Abrams hit .290 with two home runs and 13 stolen bases across 183 plate appearances for San Antonio.

  • Oneil Cruz CF | PIT

Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Clocks first home run

Cruz went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Reds.

Cruz swatted a 408-foot shot in the ninth inning of Sunday's loss for his first MLB long ball. The 6-foot-7 rookie went 3-for-9 with three RBI in his quick two-game taste of big-league action this season.

  • Corey Seager SS | TEX

Dodgers' Corey Seager: Perfect at the dish

Seager went 3-for-3 with a run and RBI in Sunday's 10-3 triumph over the Brewers.

Continuing a scorching final month, Seager singled in the first, fourth and fifth innings before being lifted in the seventh once Los Angeles' postseason fate was decided. The 27-year-old shortstop wraps up the season with a .306/.394/.521 slash line, 16 home runs, 54 runs and 57 RBI in 94 games.

  • Trea Turner SS | PHI

Dodgers' Trea Turner: Cracks grand slam

Turner went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a strikeout in a 10-3 triumph over Milwaukee on Sunday.

Turner stepped to the plate with the bases juiced in the fifth inning and took Milwaukee reliever Aaron Ashby 408 feet deep to left to increase Los Angeles' lead from one run to five. The speedy 28-year-old ends the regular season on a strong note with three home runs over his last three games and concludes the campaign with the NL batting title via a .328/.375/.536 slash line and career highs in home runs (28), runs (107) and RBI (77) along with 32 stolen bases in 148 games between Los Angeles and Washington.

  • Trevor Story SS | BOS

Rockies' Trevor Story: Not starting season finale

Story is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Story will head to the bench for Game 162 in what is likely his final contest with the Rockies. He has a .215/.329/.471 slash line with 24 homers, 75 RBI, 88 runs and 20 stolen bases in 595 plate appearances as he's poised to enter free agency in the offseason.

  • Miguel Rojas 2B | LAD

Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Resting in season finale

Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Miami has little at stake in its season finale, so manager Don Mattingly will extend a breather to Rojas and a few of the team's other everyday players. Unless he makes a cameo off the bench as a pinch hitter, Rojas will conclude his eighth MLB campaign with a .265 batting average to go with nine home runs, 13 stolen bases, 66 runs and 48 RBI.
