Adames went 4-for-5 with a homer, two doubles, two RBI and an additional run scored in Monday's 9-5 loss at Atlanta.

The San Francisco shortstop continued his recent run of success by knocking his 15th homer along with his 15th and 16th two-baggers of the season. Adames has been scorching hot in July, batting .333 (20-for-60) with six homers, five doubles, 16 RBI and 12 runs scored in 16 games. Across 424 total plate appearances, the 29-year-old is now slashing .230/.312/.405 with 52 RBI and 57 runs scored.

Caba (thumb) is 8-for-26 with two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored in his last six games for Single-A Jupiter.

Caba got off to a tough start to begin July, going 3-for-20 at the dish through his first five appearances. However, he's managed to get back on track by collecting at least one base knock in five of his previous six matchups. Caba missed over two months of action earlier in the season while recovering from a left thumb sprain but has remained healthy since his return June 24.

Betts is starting at shortstop and batting leadoff Monday against the Twins.

Betts was placed in the leadoff spot for the first time since June of last season on Sunday against the Brewers and went 1-for-5 with one run scored. Manager Dave Roberts is sticking with Betts atop the order, as the reeling Dodgers look for something to jumpstart the offense. With Betts in the top spot, Shohei Ohtani is again batting second. Betts has underwhelmed during his age-32 campaign, slashing .240/.310/.374 with 11 home runs, 45 RBI, 57 runs scored, six stolen bases and a 36:45 BB:K across 400 plate appearances.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Nationals.

Bogaerts got the scoring started early with a grand slam off MacKenzie Gore in the first inning, marking his first long ball since June 29. The 32-year-old has now hit safely in nine of his past 11 games, tallying five multi-hit efforts along with five runs scored, five RBI and three steals during that stretch. For the year, he's slashing .267/.344/.378 with six home runs, 35 RBI, 41 runs scored and 16 stolen bases across 393 plate appearances.

Perdomo went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-3 win over St. Louis.

Perdomo reached on a fielder's choice that plated the game's first run. He then stole a base before trotting in on Eugenio Suarez's three-run home run. Perdomo is rolling this month and entered the game with a .327/.464/.455 slash line and 13 RBI over the previous 15 games. He's up to a career-high 72 RBI (tied for ninth in MLB) through 99 games, and he's one theft shy of his career-high 16 steals set across 144 games in 2023.

Betts is starting at shortstop and batting leadoff Sunday versus Milwaukee, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Betts was given a day off to reset Saturday, but his absence will end up lasting just one day. the 32-year-old will also hit leadoff in his return -- according to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, it's the first time Betts will be batting atop the order since June 2024. Shohei Ohtani, who has been the Dodgers' leadoff hitter this season, is batting second as manager Dave Roberts shakes things up following the team's two-game skid coming out of the All-Star break.

Tovar is not in the starting lineup Sunday versus Minnesota.

After being activated off the injured list Friday, Tovar started Colorado's first two games out of the break, going 4-for-8 with a home run, two runs and three RBI. The talented young shortstop will get a breather Sunday, with Orlando Arcia getting the nod in his place.

The Rockies placed Ritter (finger) on the 10-day injured list Sunday, Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com reports.

Ritter need stitches Saturday after taking a pitch off his right middle finger while laying down a sacrifice bunt. The initial expectation was that the rookie infielder would only need to miss a few days, but the move to the IL means Ritter will be out until at least July 30. Colorado called up Adael Amador from Triple-A Albuquerque for infield depth, while Orlando Arcia and Kyle Farmer should log starts at the keystone while Ritter remains sidelined.

Perdomo played a key role in the Diamondbacks' blowout win Saturday, tying his season high with four RBI. The switch hitter has been solid all year and especially productive lately, slashing .327/.464/.455 with 13 RBI over his past 15 games. While he's tallied just four extra-base hits during this stretch, Perdomo's consistent contact and strong plate discipline allow him to thrive without relying heavily on power.
