Bogaerts was diagnosed with a right hand bruise after undergoing X-rays following Tuesday's loss to the Phillies, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Bogaerts was hit by a pitch on the right hand late in the game, but did not exit. The diagnosis is obviously good news, but the 25-year-old remains wary due to a similar issue that plagued him in 2017. Bogaerts will continue to be evaluated on the Red Sox's off day Wednesday.

Correa (back) is set to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi as soon as Thursday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston reports.

Correa took live batting practice Monday for the first time since landing on the disabled list in late June, and is apparently ready to return to game action. The expected length of the rehab assignment is currently unclear, but if all goes well the 23-year-old could seemingly return early next week.

Fletcher is lined up to start at second base following Ian Kinsler's trade to the Red Sox on Monday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Fletcher had already gained an everyday role at third base, but Monday's trade will allow the infielder to serve as the Halos' everyday second baseman. The 24-year-old has yet to develop the power he showed in the minors this year (.559 slugging percentage with Triple-A Salt Lake) in the majors, but he has been able to maintain a .298 batting average over 37 games. Fletcher has already logged 33 games at third base, and he should add second-base eligibility before long so long as he stays healthy.

Correa (back) managed to participate in live batting practice Monday for the first time since being placed on the disabled list, Chandler Rome of The Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa has been on the shelf with a back issue since June 28 although he continues to make significant progress. He said he felt great following his latest hitting session, so expect the 23-year-old shortstop to embark on a rehab assignment by the end of the week.

Vincej had his contract selected from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.

Vincej will provide a little extra depth all around the diamond as a utility man, especially with Kyle Seager being placed on the paternity list. During 84 games with Tacoma this year, Vincej has slashed .236/.301/.341 with six home runs, 44 RBI and six stolen bases.

Gordon went 3-for-5 with a run and a stolen base in the Mariners' 8-5 win over the Angels on Sunday.

Gordon is in a nice groove at the moment, as this marked his second three-hit effort in his last four games -- a span that's seen him also chip in three runs and steal three bases. He's now hitting .294/.312/.357 with 25 steals and one home run through 395 at-bats, keeping with his typical blueprint: a high-average hitter capable of contributing ample runs and steals but failing to add noteworthy power.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-4 win over the White Sox.

Diaz has three homers and nine RBI this month, bringing his season average to .254 in the process. The 27-year-old infielder has yet to find much success since his All-Star rookie campaign with the Cardinals in 2016. At this point, Diaz doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the lineup and won't produce much fantasy value moving forward.

Correa (back) took ground balls at shortstop and did some baserunning prior to the Astros' game Sunday against the Rangers, Christian Boutwell of MLB.com reports.

Per Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston, Correa said that workout went "great," fueling optimism that he'll be able to begin a minor-league rehab assignment during the upcoming week. Correa will travel with the Astros to Seattle and will go through a normal pregame routine Monday before the Astros likely map out his rehab schedule.

Adames will start at shortstop and bat ninth Sunday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Adames had started three of the previous four games at shortstop and will earn his third straight nod Sunday, so it appears safe to conclude he's leapfrogged Adeiny Hechavarria on the depth chart. Hechavarria is a candidate to be dealt before the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, but even if he stays put in Tampa Bay, the Rays should continue to make getting Adames steady at-bats a priority in the second half.

Wendle will start in left field and bat leadoff Sunday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It's likely just a temporary stint atop the lineup with the Rays' normal leadoff hitter, Kevin Kiermaier, getting the day off. Wendle is slashing .366/.438/.592 with three home runs, nine RBI and 10 runs in July, so the Rays offense shouldn't lose much juice with Kiermaier on the bench.
