Lindor went 3-for-5 with a triple, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 8-3 win over the Royals.

The shortstop is on a tear, having hit safely in eight straight games and 11 of the last 12 with a .364/.386/.655 slash line, three homers, three steals, nine runs and 10 RBI over those dozen contests. Lindor's .352 OBP and .519 SLG so far this season exactly match his performance from 2018, but the 25-year-old has added 22 points to his batting average, hitting .299 with 17 home runs and 16 steals through 84 games.

Correa went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Friday's loss to the Cardinals.

Correa was activated off the 60-day injured list Friday and played for the first time since May 26. Prior to suffering a rib injury, Correa was putting up strong numbers (.907 OPS, 11 home runs) in 50 games, indicating he was back on track after a disappointing and injury-impacted 2018.

Anderson (ankle) played nine innings at shortstop Friday for Triple-A Charlotte. He went 0-for-5 and committed an error.

Anderson played for a third straight day and, more significantly, played nine innings in the field. There's a possibility Anderson will return to Chicago before the end of the White Sox's homestand, which extends through Aug. 1.

Mondesi (shoulder) has resumed light workouts and light throwing, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

The pain and inflammation in Mondesi's shoulder has started to subside, allowing the shortstop to resume limited baseball activities. He's set to be reevaluated early next week (Monday or Tuesday), at which point a timetable for his return will hopefully come into focus. Look for Humberto Arteaga and Nicky Lopez to continue filling in at shortstop in the meantime.

Correa (rib) was activated from the 60-day injured list Friday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports. He is starting at shortstop and hitting fifth against the Cardinals, per Rome.

As expected, Correa will rejoin the Astros ahead of Friday's series opener after spending the past two months on the shelf with a cracked rib. The shortstop completed a six-game rehab stint before being activated, slashing .333/.417/.476 with three doubles in those contests. Correa will look to pick up where he left off prior to the injury, as he compiled a .295/.360/.547 triple slash with 11 homers in 50 games before landing on the shelf. Tony Kemp was designated for assignment to free up a roster spot for Correa.

Anderson (ankle) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored for Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday.

Anderson started at shortstop, his first rehab game in the field, and played six innings. He's played back-to-back games but has not yet played nine innings in the field. Manger Rick Renteria told Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times that Anderson feels good, although he was taking secondary leads on the bases. It would not be surprising to see the White Sox give him more at-bats with the Knights, given the length of his stay on the injured list. Anderson has been out since June 25.

Lindor went 3-for-8 with a solo home run and a double in Thursday's marathon win over the Royals.

Lindor crushed a homer to left field on the first pitch of the game to stake the Tribe to an early lead and extend his hitting streak to seven games. He also picked up a pair of extra-inning base knocks to notch his seventh three-hit game of the season. The 25-year-old has overcome an early-season injury to post another impressive campaign, slashing .295/.348/.512 with 17 homers, 41 RBI and 15 stolen bases in 380 plate appearances.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a triple, three runs scored and an RBI to help the Mariners to a 10-2 win over the Tigers on Thursday.

The young infielder seems to be heating back up after a brief lull following the All-Star break, as he's now hit safely in four straight games with a pair of multi-hit efforts over that span. The mini-hot streak has boosted his slash line for the season up to .266/.344/.452 with four homers and 32 RBI over 211 plate appearances.

Bogaerts went 4-for-6 with two home runs, four RBI and four runs scored in Thursday's 19-3 rout of the Yankees.

Bogaerts launched the longest homer of his career with a 454-foot, three-run blast off Masahiro Tanaka in the first inning. The 26-year-old also homered in the eighth and tacked on a pair of singles to complete his dominant night at the plate. Overall this season, Bogaerts is slashing .315/.400/.575 with a team-leading 23 home runs, 82 runs scored and 80 RBI.

Velazquez (thumb/hamstring) has gone 7-for-14 with a home run and four doubles in five rehab games in the Arizona League.

Dealt from Tampa Bay to Cleveland earlier this month in exchange for international bonus pool money, Velazquez was immediately placed on the minor-league injured list upon joining the Indians organization due to lingering thumb and hamstring injuries. He seems to be feeling good now, and a move up to Triple-A Columbus likely isn't far off. If he manages to avoid another injury, Velazquez should get another look in the majors when rosters expand in September.
