Lux (shoulder) is unlikely to return this season, per MLB.com.

Lux's most recent setback saw him get shut down in mid-July after receiving an injection in his right shoulder. His initial rehab assignment in April was halted by a sprained left ankle, and the infielder was later pulled off another minor-league stint with left shoulder inflammation. The Rays haven't officially ruled out Lux for the remainder of the year, but his status for the rest of 2026 is in major doubt.

Correa (ankle) has been cleared to hit off a tee, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa was given the green light to swing a bat nearly one week ago, and he's since been able to progress to tee work. It remains to be seen whether he'll be able to return before the end of the season after undergoing ankle surgery in May, but a timeline should come into focus as he continues to ramp up baseball activities.

Monasterio is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

On Sunday, interim manager Chad Tracy told Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald that he planned to give Monasterio a day off in the near future, and the skipper settled on Monday's series opener in Toronto for giving the shortstop a breather. Nick Sogard will slide over from second base to replace Monasterio, who had produced a robust .344/.408/.492 slash line with one home run, one stolen base, 14 RBI and nine runs while starting in each of the Red Sox's previous 17 games.

The Blue Jays promoted Parker from Single-A Dunedin to High-A Vancouver on Monday.

The No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft, Parker has lived up to his draft pedigree during his first season in the professional ranks and has cemented himself as one of the Blue Jays' top prospects in the process. He'll move up to Vancouver after displaying a strong all-around skill set during his time in the Florida State League, slashing .258/.388/.471 with 13 home runs and 22 stolen bases across 399 plate appearances. The 20-year-old shortstop's greatest challenge will be proving that he can keep his strikeouts in check as he climbs the minor-league ladder; he was punched out at a 24.8 percent clip during his time at Single-A.

Montgomery went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run Sunday against the Guardians.

Montgomery delivered the key blow in the game with his home run, breaking a 2-2 tie in the third inning. That marked his third long ball since the All-Star break and 26th of the season. While he has struggled to find his groove at the plate since mid-July, Montgomery now has three multi-RBI showings in his last nine starts.

Baez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Kevin McGonigle will cover shortstop in the series finale in place of Baez, who started at the position in each of the Tigers' previous three contests while going 4-for-14 with three RBI. Though he appears to be locked in as a near-everyday player for the time being, Baez could fade into more of a part-time role once Kerry Carpenter (foot) eventually returns from the injured list.

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said July 31 that Crawford is expected to be "a couple weeks down" after requiring an injection to relieve inflammation in his left wrist, MLB.com reports.

Crawford was expected to rest for 3-to-5 days following the injection, so he may have already started up the process of ramping back up. The veteran infielder is eligible to return from the injured list Sunday, but it looks like he'll need more time to complete a full range of baseball activities before the Mariners bring him back from the shelf. Brendan Donovan returned from the IL on Tuesday and has settled in as the Mariners' primary third baseman, so Crawford could be headed for a utility role once he's activated.

Walls (back) will start at shortstop and bat ninth Sunday against the Mariners, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

The 30-year-old was withheld from the starting nine in Saturday's 3-2 win due to lower-back tightness, but he'll rejoin the lineup for the series finale in Seattle. Walls is batting .103 (3-for-29) with four walks, three steals and 11 strikeouts in his past 12 games.

Culpepper is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

The 23-year-old started at shortstop in his first two MLB games after being called up Friday, and he'll get a break Sunday after going 2-for-5 with a walk, two hit-by-pitches and solo home run. Ryan Kreidler will handle shortstop for the Twins in the series finale.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 5-1 win over Baltimore.

Seager gave Texas breathing room in the eighth inning when he clouted a three-run homer. The home run and RBI were his first since being activated off the injured list July 31. The shortstop has gone 8-for-24 with three walks and four runs scored over seven contests since his activation.
