Anderson (hand) is out of the lineup against the Orioles on Friday.

Anderson was hit on the hand by a pitch during Thursday's contest and left the game in the first inning. He is not expected to miss any significant time as the X-rays came back negative, but he is on the bench for Friday's game as Tyler Saladino takes over at shortstop.

O'Malley went 3-for-5 with his first home run of the season in Thursday's loss to the Red Sox.

He led off the fifth inning against Boston starter Drew Pomeranz with the long ball -- just his second in 186 MLB at-bats spread over three seasons. Nonetheless, O'Malley doesn't have much appeal for fantasy owners outside of those in very deep AL-only formats who can make use of his occasional steals.

Lindor went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and scored twice in Thursday's win over the Twins.

Lindor's seventh-inning blast was his 13th of the season, and his first since July 19. The switch-hitting shortstop is living up to the high expectations he created in last year's rookie campaign. Lindor leads MLB in three-hit games (18) and sacrifice flies (11), while placing in the AL's top ten for average, runs and stolen bases.

Adames, 20, is slashing .274/.375/.444 with nine home runs, 46 RBI and 11 steals through 102 games for Double-A Montgomery.

Adames has now set single season bests in both home runs and steals, as he continues to climb towards the big leagues. He has also managed to cut down on his strikeouts this season even despite the increase in power. Adames flies under the radar for some reason but is a top-flight prospect for the Rays.

Anderson is day-to-day after leaving Thursday's game with a bruised left hand.

After getting off to a hot start to his big league career, Anderson has tailed off and is now slashing just .264/.271/.398 with five homers and four steals in 206 plate appearances. He has plenty of long-term upside, but his approach needs a lot of work, so it may take awhile before he fully rewards his owners in keeper and dynasty leagues.

Mondesi is out of the lineup Thursday against the Rays, MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan reports.

After notching six hits in his first five games after being called up on July 26, he has now gone hitless with five strikeouts over his last four contests. Mondesi's defense alone should keep him in the lineup most days, but Christian Colon will man the keystone Thursday to give the 21-year-old rookie a day off.

O'Malley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

O'Malley will sit for the second straight game after starting the past six at short. In his place, the club will go with Luis Sardinas, who will bat ninth in the order.

Urena was promoted to Double-A New Hampshire on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old switch-hitting shortstop forced the Blue Jays' hand over the past week, notching 14 hits and two home runs in his last six games for High-A Dunedin. He leaves the pitcher-friendly Florida State League with a .305/.351/.447 slash line with eight homers and nine steals in 394 at-bats. Urena does not receive quite as much hype as some other shortstops in the middle levels of the minors, partly because he does not project to be a plus defender at shortstop, but his bat is legitimate and should be able to play even if he moves down the defensive spectrum.

Pennington (hamstring) was officially activated from the DL on Tuesday, Pedro Moura of the LA Times reports.

Pennington has been out since late May and will return to the club prior to their game against the A's on Tuesday. He will take the roster spot of the recently traded Joe Smith and figures to serve as a backup infielder.
