Barco was promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Barco had a dominant start to the season with Double-A Altoona, as he threw 25.2 scoreless innings with a 34:7 K:BB prior to his promotion. Bubba Chandler will still almost certainly beat him to the big-league rotation, though Barco could find his way to Pittsburgh at some point during the summer months.

Gomber (shoulder) has increased the volume and distance of his throws, MLB.com reports.

Gomber suffered a shoulder injury early in spring training and dealt with a setback, pushing his timeline back. He's now ramping up for the second time but has yet to throw off a mound, meaning he's likely to be out until at least mid-June.

Myers will start Monday's series opener versus the Astros at American Family Field.

After Myers covered just two innings in his most recent start against the White Sox on Wednesday, the Brewers made him available out of the bullpen for this past weekend's series versus the Cubs. He tossed a perfect 11-pitch inning in relief in Friday's 10-0 loss, and given that light workload, Myers shouldn't be operating with any major restrictions as he steps back into the rotation Monday. Myers will tentatively line up for a two-start week, with his second turn expected to come on the road Sunday at Tampa Bay.

McGreevy earned the victory in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets, tossing 5.2 scoreless innings with five strikeouts.

McGreevy replaced an ineffective Andre Pallante in the top of the fourth inning and escaped a bases-loaded, one-out jam. He then faced just three over the minimum the rest of the way, which included retiring the final 10 batters he went up against. McGreevy is worthy of a long look in the Cardinals' rotation, but for now he's likely headed back to Triple-A Memphis, where he's posted a 4.08 ERA and 25:7 K:BB over 28.2 innings this season.

Gore allowed one run on four hits and four walks while striking out nine in five innings Sunday against the Reds. He did not factor into the decision.

Gore worked around a season-high four walks to hold the Reds to one run, which came on a second-inning solo home run by Tyler Stephenson. Sunday was just the second time this season he's failed to reach six innings, but he posted his third-best strikeout total of the year. His 68 strikeouts are 11 more than any other pitcher in the majors and he's up to 118 whiffs for the year. Gore will aim to pick up his first win in four starts when he faces the Cardinals at home over the weekend.

Martinez allowed a run on four hits and no walks while striking out six over six inning Sunday against the Nationals. He did not factor into the decision.

Martinez put together his second consecutive quality start but was spared the win after being let down by the bullpen and the offense. Four hits tied his fewest allowed in a start this season and it was the first time he didn't walk anyone. The one run against him was in the second inning after the Nationals opened up with a double and a single, but Martinez responded well with back-to-back strikeouts to limit any additional damage. He dropped his ERA to a 4.19 and WHIP to a 1.24 and lines up for a road start versus Houston to open up the weekend series.

May (1-2) allowed four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus Atlanta.

Four of the seven baserunners May allowed led to trouble, as he twice put Alex Verdugo aboard before Austin Riley homered in the first and third innings. The long ball hasn't typically been a problem for May this year -- he had allowed just one homer over his first five starts. He's now at a 4.36 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB across 33 innings. His 3.8 BB/9 is a bit elevated, and he's walked multiple batters in five of six starts, so that's an area he'll need to improve in to find more success. May is projected for a road start in Arizona in his next trip to the mound.

Elder (2-1) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over five-plus innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Elder gave up an RBI double to Max Muncy in the fourth inning, and Muncy added a second RBI with a sixth-inning groundout against Pierce Johnson after Elder put two runners on base. Other than that, it was a third straight positive performance for Elder, who is doing a fair job of holding onto a place in Atlanta's rotation. His six strikeouts Sunday were a season high, and he's allowed just six runs over his last 17 innings across three starts, a span that includes both of his wins this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at Pittsburgh.

Megill allowed four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings, taking a no-decision in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals.

Megill allowed a two-run home run in the second inning and ran into more trouble in the third, allowing a two-run lead to slip away in that frame. This was his worst start of the season so far, and it was also the second outing in a row he's allowed a homer. The right-hander still has a strong 2.50 ERA with a 1.17 WHIP and 45:15 K:BB over 36 innings across seven starts. Megill will look to get back on track in his next projected start, a tough home matchup versus the Cubs.

Pallante allowed four runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out one over 3.1 innings in the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets. He did not factor in the decision.

This was Pallante's shortest outing of the season and the third time he's failed to complete five innings over seven starts. Pallante is now at a 4.75 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 21:16 K:BB over 36 innings. Michael McGreevy finished off the nightcap with 5.2 innings of one-hit ball out of the bullpen, and if the Cardinals opt to adjust the composition of their rotation, he'd be a candidate to push Pallante out of the mix. If there are no changes to the starters, Pallante is tentatively projected for a road start at Washington in his next outing.
