Gray struck out 10 batters over five innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Saturday. He surrendered two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks.

In the best outing of his young career, Gray induced 20 swinging strikes in just five frames and racked up a career-high 10 punchouts. He allowed a solo homer to Jorge Soler in the first inning but was otherwise difficult to score upon, with the only other run against him coming as a result of an error in the third frame. The right-hander has looked superb in his first two starts with Washington, allowing a total of two earned runs over a combined 10 innings. He's tentatively lined up to face the Braves again -- this time at home -- next Friday.

Keller (3-9) gave up four runs on seven hits and four walks over five innings in Saturday's loss to the Reds. He had four strikeouts.

Cincinnati got to Keller for three runs in the third inning and tacked on another with Nick Castellanos' solo home run in the fifth. Keller has yielded eight runs and 15 hits over 10 innings in his first two starts since returning from Triple-A Indianapolis, giving him an ugly 7.06 ERA and 1.81 WHIP in 57.1 frames on the year. Opponents are hitting .305 off of Keller and he's issued 33 free passes.

Darvish didn't factor into the decision during Saturday's 6-2 victory over Arizona, allowing two runs on four hits with 12 strikeouts in seven innings.

Darvish limited the damage to a Christian Walker second-inning two-run home run and scattered only two more hits across the other six innings in an excellent rebound outing. Though he didn't earn the win, this was Darvish's first quality start since June and the 12 strikeouts tie his season high. The veteran righty will look to build on the solid performance as he lines up to face the Snakes again next week.

Gutierrez (7-3) allowed one run on six hits and a walk with six strikeouts over six innings to get the win Saturday against the Pirates.

That's now five quality starts in the last six outings for Gutierrez, who held the Pirates to a Bryan Reynolds run-scoring triple in the third inning to earn his third straight win. The 25-year-old Gutierrez has done a better job of limiting traffic on the bases in recent starts, but his 4.39 ERA and 1.34 ERA -- not to mention peripherals like his 5.68 xFIP -- suggest he's still more of a matchup-dependent option for the time being. His next start is tentatively scheduled for next week at Atlanta.

Paddack (oblique) threw on the field Friday but remains without a timeline for a return, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

The right-hander is technically eligible to come off the injured list, but he has yet to throw off a mound and doesn't appear close to a return. However, Paddack said Friday that he's headed in the right direction in his recovery. "It feels good," Paddack said of his oblique. "I'm not 100 percent throwing yet, but I'm gradually getting back."

Hamels (not injury related) threw one inning in a simulated game Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts indicated that Hamels' sim inning went well and said that the left-hander threw some additional warm-up pitches. Hamels was signed to a major-league contract Wednesday after throwing only 3.1 innings with Atlanta last season, so he'll need considerable time to ramp up. Per Juan Toribio of MLB.com, the team would like the veteran hurler to get up to five innings in sim games before joining the active roster.

Gonsolin (shoulder) has not picked up a baseball since hitting the 10-day injured list July 31, Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA reports.

The right-hander was diagnosed with right shoulder inflammation after walking five batters over 1.2 innings against Atlanta on July 31. He's eligible to come off the IL on Tuesday, but it's apparent that Gonsolin won't come close to returning that soon. The Dodgers' recent signing of Cole Hamels could indicate that they expect Gonsolin to remain out for a considerable period of time.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Saturday that Ynoa (hand) will likely return from the 60-day injured list shortly after making his next minor-league rehab start during the upcoming week, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Ynoa made the second start of his rehab assignment Friday, moving from High-A Rome to Triple-A Gwinnett. He worked 3.2 innings (68 pitches) in the outing, giving up three runs (one earned) on four hits and no walks while striking out four. Ynoa is expected to build up to around 85 pitches in his upcoming rehab start, which will presumably fall Wednesday or Thursday. The 23-year-old is tracking toward a mid-August return to the Atlanta rotation, and Snitker acknowledged that the team could move from a five-man to a six-man setup in order to accommodate Ynoa, per O'Brien.

Flaherty (oblique) is confident that he'll be able to rejoin the starting rotation during the upcoming series in Pittsburgh, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Manager Mike Shildt said Friday that Flaherty is considered "probable" for the upcoming series, and the right-hander echoed his confidence by saying that he felt healthy following his last rehab start. Flaherty tossed 75 pitches at Triple-A Memphis on Friday, but he was unable to get through six innings since he gave up three runs. He tentatively lines up to rejoin the rotation Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

Cecconi was placed on the 60-day injured list with High-A Hillsboro on Thursday with an undisclosed injury.

Given that there's only a month left in the minor-league season, this means Cecconi is done for the year. There is no official injury designation at the moment, but this seems pretty ominous. Cecconi seemed to be rounding into form after an up and down start to the season, logging a 2.08 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 16:1 K:BB in 13 innings over his two most recent starts. He ends his first pro season with a 4.12 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 63:20 K:BB in 59 innings (12 starts).
