Toussaint (2-2) picked up the win in Monday's 12-2 rout of the Marlins, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out seven.
Both runs came on early solo shots by Jazz Chisholm and Isan Diaz, but Toussaint steadied the ship before Atlanta seized control of the game with a seven-run fourth inning. The quality start was the third in six outings for the right-hander since he joined the rotation after the All-Star break, and Toussaint will carry a 4.01 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 35:11 K:BB through 33.2 innings into his next start.
