Marquez gave up four runs on 10 hits and a walk across 4.1 innings Friday against the Cubs. He didn't factor into the decision.

Marquez couldn't repeat his excellent debut when he gave up one run across seven innings against the Dodgers and didn't even come close to posting a quality start in this one, but the offense picked up the slack and allowed the right-hander to escape with a no-decision. Marquez will be looking for his first win of the season when he takes on the Phillies at home next week.

Keller (0-2) took the loss Friday, giving up four runs on seven hits and three walks over 3.2 innings as the Pirates were downed 7-2 by the Nationals. He struck out four.

The velocity gains Keller flashed in workout videos during the offseason have proven to be legit -- he popped 99.2 mph with a fastball in the first inning Friday and was consistently sitting in the high 90s -- but that hasn't done anything to alleviate the control and command issues that have plagued him in the majors. Keller now sports a 9.39 ERA, 2.35 WHIP and 12.2 percent walk rate through his first 7.2 innings this season, and until he can learn to harness his plus stuff, he'll remain difficult to deploy in fantasy. The 26-year-old right-hander is next scheduled to take the mound Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Stroman (0-1) allowed five runs on six hits across four innings to take the loss Friday against the Rockies. He walked one and struck out four.

As is the case with many pitchers, Stroman struggled to find his footing at Coors Field. The righty actually looked good through three innings, but the Rockies tallied five runs on four hits and a walk in the fourth inning. The big blow was a three-run home run by Alan Trejo. The tough outing pushed Stroman's season ERA to 6.00, though better days should be ahead. He lines up to face the Rays on Wednesday in his next scheduled start.

Gutierrez (0-2) took the loss in Friday's 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts in four innings.

After a clean first inning, Gutierrez surrendered one run apiece in the second, third and fifth innings to fall in line for the loss. That's now consecutive losses for the 26-year-old, who has gone fewer than five innings and thrown under 80 pitches in each start. He's tentatively lined up to face off against the Padres on Wednesday.

Anderson (1-0) picked up the win during Friday's 3-1 victory over the Reds, allowing one run on four hits with two strikeouts in four innings.

Making his second appearance of the season, Anderson allowed his lone run and all three baserunners in the sixth inning against the heart of Cincinnati's lineup. The 32-year-old lefty has now followed starter Tony Gonsolin in consecutive appearance and, if the trend sticks, is slated to pitch again Wednesday against Atlanta.

Gonsolin didn't factor into the decision during Friday's 3-1 win over Cincinnati, allowing three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in four scoreless innings.

Gonsolin permitted baserunners in each inning but was able to escape unscathed, most notably dodging a bases-loaded jam in the third inning. The 27-year-old has now allowed just one run through two starts, though he's only pitched seven total innings and hasn't made it past 74 pitches. He's tentatively lined up to take on Atlanta on Wednesday.

Peralta (0-1) took the loss Friday, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts over three innings in a 10-1 loss to St. Louis.

After getting the first two batters out, Peralta allowed the next six to reach safely in a four-run first inning. The Cardinals added two more runs in the second as the 25-year-old needed 77 pitches to complete three innings. The All-Star right-hander has gotten off to an inauspicious start to the season, failing to make it past the fourth inning in either of his outings and allowing more than a run an inning. His next start is scheduled for Friday in Philadelphia.

Mikolas (1-0) earned the win, allowing one run on three hits and a walk in 6.2 innings while striking out seven in a 10-1 win Friday in Milwaukee.

Mikolas allowed just one hit in his first six innings before getting into a little bit of trouble in the seventh. Coming off a rocky first start of 2022, the righty dominated the Brewers' lineup, retiring the side in order in four innings. The 33-year-old is now 6-2 in his career against Milwaukee with just five walks in 57 innings. His next start is scheduled for Thursday in Miami.

Rodon (1-0) allowed one run on two hits and two walks over seven innings Friday, striking out nine and earning a win over the Guardians.

Rodon began the game with six shutout frames, yielding just one hit, one walk and a hit batter during that stretch. The only damage against him came on a seventh-inning sacrifice fly by Owen Miller. Rodon forced nine swinging strikes and got 22 called strikes, throwing 90 total pitches in the outing. The 29-year-old is sporting a 21:4 K:BB and a 1.50 ERA through 12 innings. He's expected to face the Mets in New York his next time out.

Davies (0-1) took the loss Friday against the Mets, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits in 4.1 innings of work, striking out two while walking one.

Davies managed just one clean frame in his second start of the year. Pete Alonso drove in runs with sacrifice flies in both the first and third innings, while Robinson Cano hit a solo shot in the fourth and Francisco Lindor hit a two-run homer in the fifth. Davies now owns a 5.79 ERA and 1.61 WHIP through two outings, striking out four and walking four. He'll look to turn things around in his next outing, which lines up for Wednesday in Washington.
