Gibson didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to Atlanta, giving up two runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out eight.

The veteran right-hander got lifted after 106 pitches (67 strikes) with the Phillies down by a run, but they quickly got Gibson off the hook for his third loss of the year. He'll take a 3.94 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 45:14 K:BB through 48 innings into his next outing, when he'll be looking for his first win since May 8 after starting off with three victories in his first six outings of the season.

Gray (4-4) took the loss Tuesday as the Nationals were downed 9-4 by the Dodgers, surrendering seven runs on five hits -- including three home runs -- and three walks over three innings. He struck out five.

It was the worst performance of the year for the right-hander, as Gray needed 80 pitches (47 strikes) to record only nine outs against his former club. The 24-year-old has been unable to keep the ball in the yard as the weather has warmed up, serving up nine homers over his last four starts and 20.1 innings. The rough stretch has left Gray with a 5.44 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 51:21 K:BB through 46.1 frames on the season.

Buehler (6-1) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over six innings in a 9-4 victory over the Nationals. He struck out three.

It wasn't the most dominant performance from Buehler, who tossed 59 of 92 pitches for strikes, but the Dodgers scored multiple runs in each of the first three innings to give the right-hander more than enough cushion. The quality start was Buehler's third of the year, and he'll take a 2.91 ERA and 1.23 WHIP into his next outing despite a career-low 19.1 percent strikeout rate.

Bassitt didn't factor into the decision during Tuesday's 13-12 loss to San Francisco, allowing eight runs on eight hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 4.1 innings.

Bassitt didn't have his stuff working Tuesday as he surrendered the bulk of the damage on a pair of Joc Pederson two-run shots and a Tommy La Stella three-run homer but was bailed out when New York rallied in the eighth inning. The 33-year-old's two worst outings have come against San Francisco, as he also permitted five runs in a loss April 20, though Bassitt has pitched well in his other seven starts with a 2.11 ERA and 1.03 WHIP compared to 3.91 and 1.21 marks on the season. He'll look to get back on track early next week against Washington.

Webb didn't factor into the decision during Tuesday's 13-12 win against the Mets, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk with six strikeouts in five innings.

Webb permitted one run on three hits in the second inning and another in the fourth before departing with a comfortable six-run lead, only for New York to rally with seven runs in the eighth. Though he hasn't been dominant with 40 strikeouts in 53.1 innings, the 25-year-old has been extremely steady through nine starts. He's allowed four runs or fewer in every turn, resulting in a 3.54 ERA and 1.26 WHIP. He lines up to take the mound again early next week against Philadelphia.

Snell (0-2) took the loss during Tuesday's 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Brewers, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings.

Snell surrendered only one baserunner through four innings but was stung for a Mike Brosseau solo homer in the fifth and put two on in the sixth before Craig Stammen allowed a Tyrone Taylor three-run home run. Snell tossed an impressive 104 pitches with 15 swinging strikes in just his second start of the campaign, though both outings have resulted in losses. Snell has permitted six runs on six hits and five walks in nine innings and will go for his first win early next week against St. Louis.

Burnes (2-2) earned the win during Tuesday's 4-1 victory over San Diego, allowing one run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six innings.

Burnes settled down after permitting five baserunners and one run combined in the first two innings to get through his final four innings nearly unscathed. The 27-year-old extended his streak of going at least six innings to eight starts, though he's now struck out five in consecutive turns after recording at least seven whiffs in each of his previous six. Burnes' 2.18 ERA and 0.87 WHIP both rank among the league leaders and he's currently set to make a second start this week against St. Louis over the weekend.

Gallen didn't factor into the decision during Tuesday's 8-6 win against Kansas City, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings.

Gallen served up an MJ Melendez two-run homer in the second inning and put three runners on in the sixth before departing, all of which came around to score. This was the 26-year-old's first start in eight turns in which he permitted more than two earned runs, nearly doubling his ERA from 1.14 to 2.22, while the nine Royals Gallen put on easily eclipsed his previous high of five. He'll look to rebound early next week against Atlanta.

Lopez (4-2) was charged with the loss Tuesday against the Rays after giving up four runs on nine hits with eight strikeouts and zero walks over seven innings.

Lopez allowed three home runs, including Kevin Kiermaier's inside-the-park homer. The big blow came in the sixth inning when Ji-Man Choi crushed a two-run shot to right field. The right-hander generated an impressive 21 swinging strikes on 86 pitches, but the long balls soured that effort as he allowed more than three earned runs for the first time in 2022. Lopez still has strong numbers for the season with a 2.04 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 56:11 K:BB across 53 innings.

Mahle (2-5) took the loss Tuesday against the Cubs after surrendering eight runs on nine hits with six strikeouts and three walks over four innings.

Mahle entered Tuesday's contest with a 2.60 ERA across his past thee starts, but Chicago tagged him for three runs during the first inning, and things didn't get better from there. He threw only 60 of his 103 pitches for strikes. Mahle will carry a 6.32 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 50:23 K:BB into his next turn through the rotation.
