Mahle (3-6) gave up three earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over 6.2 innings to earn the win in a 10-3 victory over the Giants on Sunday.

Mahle took advantage of 10 runs of offensive support to notch his third win of the season on the back of 6.2 effective innings. The 27-year-old right-hander now has five quality starts in his last six appearances, with the one weak performance during that stretch coming against the Dodgers. Mahle has shown the ability to generate swinging strikes on his 94 mph fastball over the course of his career, and he is averaging 10 strikeouts per nine innings this season. He will try to pick up win number four next week against Atlanta.

Strider pitched six shutout innings Sunday versus the Dodgers, allowing five hits while striking out seven and walking none in a no-decision.

Strider was tagged for six runs by the Giants in his last start, but he bounced back with an excellent performance against one of the National League's top teams. The rookie right-hander submitted his longest start of the year, throwing 64 of 95 pitches for strikes while keeping runs off the board for the second time in six starts since he joined the rotation. He owns a 3.02 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 79:22 K:BB through 53.2 innings overall. Strider is expected to make his next start on the road in Cincinnati next weekend.

Gonsolin allowed a run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Sunday.

Gonsolin was in line for a hard-luck loss until the Dodgers' offense woke up in the ninth inning. While he fell short of a quality start for the second outing in a row, he's still yet to give up more than two earned runs in any appearance this season. The right-hander has a 1.58 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 69:23 K:BB across 74 innings in 14 starts. He remains undefeated at 9-0 this year, and he'll look to push his win total into double digits in a home start versus the Padres next week.

Keuchel allowed four runs on six hits and three walks and struck out seven over 4.1 innings versus the Tigers on Sunday. He did not factor in the decision.

Keuchel showed some promise with the season-high total in strikeouts, but it was still an inefficient performance. He threw 98 pitches (55 strikes) to get 13 outs in his first outing with the Diamondbacks. For the season, he has a 2-5 record, a 7.93 ERA, 2.15 WHIP and 27:23 K:BB through 36.1 innings, which includes his first eight starts this year with the White Sox. If Keuchel remains in the majors, he's projected for a tough road start in Colorado next weekend.

Darvish allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk with nine strikeouts in six innings versus the Phillies on Sunday. He did not factor in the decision.

Darvish allowed multiple runs for the first time in four starts, with the Phillies picking up two in the second inning and one more in the fifth. Despite the downturn from his recent dominance, this was still a fourth straight quality start for the right-hander. He owns a 3.26 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 75:18 K:BB across 88.1 innings in 14 starts overall. Darvish is projected for a tough road start versus the Dodgers next weekend.

Gibson allowed five runs on four hits, three walks and two hit-by-pitches while striking out in 2.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Sunday.

Gibson threw only 34 of his 61 pitches for strikes in a wild and ineffective start that saw the Phillies in an early hole. They were able to get out of trouble with strong work from the bullpen, including long reliever Nick Nelson's 3.1 perfect innings, and a surge in offense in the latter half of the game. Gibson's been generally solid as a back-end starter, posting a 4.48 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 68:23 K:BB across 80.1 innings this year, so it appears this was just a hiccup for the veteran right-hander in his shortest outing of 2022. He'll look to get back on track next weekend in a home start versus the Cardinals.

Farrell (undisclosed) has struck out five over 3.1 innings while giving up one run on one hit and three walks across two appearances for Triple-A Iowa since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.

Farrell was sidelined for about two and a half weeks with the unspecified injury. The journeyman right-hander owns a 4.39 ERA and 1.45 WHIP across 26.2 innings with Iowa on the season.

Contreras allowed one run on four hits and five walks while striking out four in five innings. He did not factor into the decision in a 4-2 loss Sunday in Tampa Bay.

Contreras struggled with his control in the second inning and walked four batters, including one with the bases loaded. He pitched around trouble the rest of the way and held the Rays scoreless over the final three frames. Sunday's start was fairly representative of Contreras' season, as the 22-year-old limited runs while pitching around walks. For the season he has a 2.76 ERA despite a 1.35 WHIP and 42:19 K:BB in 42.1 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend against Milwaukee.

Peterson allowed two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out eight in seven innings during Sunday's loss to the Marlins. He didn't factor into the decision.

Peterson posted his second quality start of the season while striking out a season-high eight batters during Sunday's matchup, but he was unable to pick up the win during the low-scoring game. The southpaw has made seven appearances (six starts) since rejoining the major-league roster and has posted a 3.78 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 33.1 innings during that time. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Rangers on Saturday.

Eflin is having his right knee evaluated after Saturday's game against the Padres, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The 28-year-old dealt with a bruised knee in his previous start and was cleared to take the mound Saturday, but he was still affected by the injury and threw only 80 pitches. Eflin pitched well with two runs allowed over five innings, but his availability for the next turn through the rotation is once again up in the air.
