Gonsolin (4-2) yielded seven runs on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings Sunday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Giants.

Gonsolin looked strong through three perfect frames before things began to unravel. While it was his first time allowing more than three runs in an outing this year, he also racked up a season-high seven punchouts. Gonsolin had registered a 1.93 ERA while going 4-0 over his previous six starts before Sunday. Despite the poor outing, Gonsolin is sporting a 2.92 ERA with a 43:21 K:BB across 10 starts. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Astros.

Davies (1-3) allowed nine runs (eight earned) on nine hits and a walk while striking out two over 3.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Guardians.

Davies has hit a brutal skid, allowing 15 runs (12 earned) over 6.2 innings across his last two starts. He's completed six innings just once in seven appearances this season, and he's lost three of his five starts since returning from an oblique injury. The right-hander now has a 7.11 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB through 31.2 innings on the year. He'll look to get back on track in a projected road start versus the surging Giants.

Morton (6-6) earned the win Sunday, allowing five runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks over five innings against Colorado. He struck out eight.

Morton got off to a shaky start, allowing five runs in the first two innings. However, he'd hold the Rockies at bay from there as Atlanta eventually rallied to win 14-6. The 39-year-old Morton has logged eight or more strikeouts in five of his last seven starts. He now sports a 3.71 ERA with a 1.45 WHIP and 93:36 K:BB through 14 starts (80 innings) this season. He's slated for a road matchup with the Reds in his next outing.

Anderson (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and four walks over three innings in a 14-6 loss to Atlanta. He struck out two.

Things quickly went south for Anderson after he was staked to a 5-0 lead. He'd eventually surrender seven runs, six coming on a pair of three-run homers. The veteran right-hander now has a 9.24 ERA over his last three starts (12.2 innings) after pitching to a 1.69 mark through his first 26.2 innings this year. Overall, Anderson's ERA is up to 4.12 with a 1.25 WHIP and 27:12 K:BB through seven starts (39.1 innings) this season. He's currently in line for a home matchup with the Angels in his next outing.

Musgrove (5-2) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out one over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Rays.

Musgrove turned in his fourth quality start of the year on an efficient 85 pitches (61 strikes) while keeping the Rays' challenging offense in check. The right-hander has given up just eight runs (seven earned) over his last 29.1 innings, trimming his ERA from 6.75 on May 20 to 4.22 now. He's added a 1.31 WHIP and 48:15 K:BB through 53.1 innings across 10 starts. Musgrove is still managing elbow bursitis, but it doesn't appear to be negatively impacting his play of late. He's lined up to make his next start at home versus the Nationals.

Wheeler (6-4) earned the win Sunday over the Athletics, allowing six hits and two walks while striking out four over six scoreless innings.

Wheeler's been very strong over his last three starts, allowing just two runs (one earned) on 11 hits and four walks with 19 strikeouts in 19.1 innings in that span. This was his second win in a row, though Sunday's outing was also the first time since April 23 that he's walked multiple batters. The veteran right-hander is at a 3.48 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 98:20 K:BB through 88 innings across 15 starts this season. Wheeler is lined up to make his next start at home versus his old team, the Mets.

Carrasco did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing six runs (five earned) on five hits and three walks over three innings in a 8-7 loss to St. Louis. He struck out four.

Carrasco posted season-worst marks in innings completed and runs allowed during a disappointing outing. After a rough first start, the right-hander had been solid since coming off the injured list in mid-May, posting a 3.22 ERA and 1.39 WHIP over his past four starts, but he struggled again Sunday. It was the fourth time Carrasco has allowed at least five runs this season, and his ERA currently sits at 6.34. Regardless, Carrasco's spot in the rotation is secure for the time being, and his next start is lined up for a matchup in Philadelphia.

Liberatore did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing five runs on four hits and two walks over four innings against the Mets. He struck out two.

Liberatore allowed a season-high five earned runs, but he escaped with a no-decision thanks to the Cardinals' offensive explosion. It was a disappointing outing for the left-hander, who was coming off his first quality start of the year, and his ERA has ballooned to 6.12 through six appearances (five starts). The 23-year-old won the fifth-starter gig to start June while Steven Matz shifted to the bullpen, but Liberatore's spot in the rotation isn't guaranteed, especially if he continues to struggle.

Rea is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks at American Family Field.

Rea looked like a candidate to move out of the rotation during the upcoming week after both Eric Lauer and Wade Miley were reinstated from the injured list, but Lauer ended up getting optioned to Triple-A Nashville, while Adrian Houser was sent to the bullpen to clear up a starting spot for Miley. As a result, Rea appears set to stick around as Milwaukee's No. 5 starter, though he probably doesn't have a long leash. He's pitched to a 4.71 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over 57.1 innings in the big leagues this season, and most of his underlying ratios (4.43 SIERA, 12.4 K-BB%, 27.5 CSW%) point to him being an average-to-below-average performer.

Taillon (2-5) was charged with the loss Sunday against the Orioles after he allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks across 5.1 innings. He struck out one.

The veteran right-hander kept Baltimore off the board through three innings, but he surrendered two runs in both of the fourth and sixth frames. Taillon has covered at least 5.1 frames in each of his past four starts, but he has a 4.84 ERA and has given up five homers during that stretch. He has a 6.71 ERA for the season and tentatively lines up to pitch against the Cardinals next weekend.
