Corbin (4-8) took the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on 11 hits and two walks over six innings against the Marlins. He struck out three.

It's the third straight loss for Corbin, though he's pitched at least six innings in eight of his last 10 starts. The 33-year-old left-hander has a 4.89 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 54:26 K:BB through 15 starts (84.2 innings) this season. Corbin currently lines up to face the Padres on the road in his next outing.

Bido is scheduled to start Monday's series opener versus the Cubs at PNC Park.

Bido will make a second straight turn through the rotation after he delivered serviceable numbers in his MLB debut last Wednesday against this same Cubs team at Wrigley Field. Though he was lifted after just four innings, Bido struck out six and gave up one earned run on four hits and three walks. Bido's numbers over a larger sample of 55.1 innings at Triple-A Indianapolis this season (4.55 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 56:26 K:BB) don't paint a rosy picture for his outlook with the big club moving forward, but so long as he could avoid any major blowups, he should have a lock on a rotation spot with the struggling Roansy Contreras unlikely to return to a starting role in the short term.

Luzardo (6-5) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over six innings in a 4-2 victory over the Nationals. He struck out five.

It was a strong bounce-back performance from Luzardo after he was tagged for five runs in his last outing, a loss to the Mariners. Lane Thomas was responsible for the only two runs against Luzardo with a two-run homer in the third inning. The 25-year-old Luzardo has had an up-and-down month -- he's now 2-2 with a 5.24 ERA through four starts in June. Overall, the left-hander sports a 4.09 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP and 94:22 K:BB through 15 starts (83.2 innings) this season.

Cobb was placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday, retroactive to June 15, with a left oblique strain, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The veteran right-hander dealt with hip tightness during his June 8 start in Colorado and lasted just 79 pitches his last time out against St. Louis on Tuesday, and he'll now be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks with an oblique strain. It's a big blow to San Francisco's rotation, and it's unclear if Cobb will have a chance to return when first eligible June 30.

Sanchez is dealing with some soreness in his left hand but is expected to make his next turn through the rotation Friday versus the Mets, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The 26-year-old exited Saturday's outing in Oakland after being struck by a comebacker, but he appears to have avoided a notable injury with X-rays coming back negative. The Phillies have a scheduled day off Monday, so Sanchez could also be pushed back in the rotation a couple days without the team needing to add another starter.

Manager David Bell said Williamson is scheduled to pitch Monday against the Rockies but might not start the contest, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

The 25-year-old has a 5.40 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 22:13 K:BB across 31.2 frames in six starts this year, and Bell is now considering using the left-hander behind an opener. Williamson could still carry some streaming appeal if working in a bulk role, though he's hardly a reliable option.

Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Urias (hamstring) could be activated during the Dodgers' road trip that begins June 27 in Colorado and runs through July 2 in Kansas City, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

The left-hander threw a bullpen session with no apparent issues Saturday, which was his second time on the mound since he suffered a setback last weekend. Urias is likely to begin a rehab assignment this week and should be able to rejoin Los Angeles' rotation after one or two starts in the minors.

Teng was promoted from Double-A Richmond to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Teng has shown some upside with a 13.0 K/9 over 47.1 innings with Richmond this season. He also posted a 4.75 ERA in his second season at Double-A, but his 3.23 FIP suggests he had some poor luck. He rides a sweeper and mixes in a fastball, though he may need to develop a third pitch to navigate the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. He'll likely spend the rest of 2023 at Triple-A.

Manager Bob Melvin said this weekend that he's "fairly confident" Lugo (calf) will be activated from the 15-day injured list and return to the rotation during the Padres' four-game series in San Francisco that begins Monday, 97.3 The Fan San Diego reports.

Lugo has been on the shelf since May 18 with a left calf strain, but he looks poised to return from the IL without heading out on a minor-league rehab assignment beforehand. The right-hander faced hitters in a simulated game Thursday without issue, and Melvin indicated that if Lugo makes it out of a bullpen session Sunday without incident, he'll likely fill the void in the rotation that opened with Ryan Weathers' recent demotion to Triple-A El Paso. Lugo tentatively lines up to start the second game of the series Tuesday, though he could handle a lighter workload than usual in what would be his first game action in over a month.

Allard (oblique) reported to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday to begin a rehab assignment.

The left-hander opened the season on the 60-day injured list with a strained right oblique, but he's now been cleared for game action. Allard figures to require multiple appearances before being cleared to return from the injured list, so he likely won't be fully ready until at least early July. Even with Atlanta's injury issues in the rotation, the 25-year-old isn't guaranteed a spot on the big-league roster once healthy.
