Cecconi allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Friday.

Cecconi was spared the loss only because the Diamondbacks rallied in the top of the ninth inning. This was the sixth time in seven appearances since the start of June that Cecconi failed to complete five innings. He's now at a 6.10 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 50:12 K:BB through 62 innings over 13 outings (12 starts) this season. The 25-year-old's next start is projected to be at home versus Atlanta.

Vasquez allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Vasquez gave up a two-run home run to Joc Pederson in the first inning, but that was the extent of his damage. The Padres built up a 7-2 lead by the time he left, but the bullpen's meltdown cost Vasquez his chance at the win. This was his third quality start of the year, and he's allowed just three runs over his last 15.1 innings. Overall, Vasquez is at a 4.66 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 38:14 K:BB through 58 innings over 12 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Mariners, assuming the Padres skip Adam Mazur in the rotation with two off days next week.

Corbin did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Cardinals, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts over five innings.

Corbin opened with three scoreless innings but allowed three runs over the fourth and fifth frames before departing with a 5-3 lead. The southpaw generated only five swinging strikes on 91 pitches but has now completed at least five innings in 12 consecutive outings. Despite the solid volume this season, the 34-year-old owns a 5.49 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 68:35 K:BB over 100 innings. He lines up for a road matchup with the Mets next week.

Gray did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 win against the Nationals, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with six strikeouts over five innings.

Gray allowed a total of five runs over the first three innings and departed after five frames with a 5-3 deficit. He surrendered eight hard hits and now carries a 5.09 ERA in road starts compared to a 1.90 mark at home . On the season, the 34-year-old owns a 3.30 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 115:24 K:BB over 92.2 innings. He lines up for a home matchup against the Royals next week.

Freeland did not factor into the decision in Friday's 4-2 win over Kansas City, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out five.

The Colorado veteran fired his third consecutive quality start, as he continues his resurgence after returning from the 60-day injured list June 23. Over his last three outings, Freeland has a 1.37 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB across 19.2 innings while making two of those appearances in Coors Field. The 31-year-old is currently slated to make his next start against the Reds in Cincinnati.

Nola (10-4) yielded three runs on five hits over six innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over Atlanta.

Nola got through three shutout frames before coughing up a two-run shot to Austin Riley in the fourth inning. Ozzie Albies then knocked a solo homer in the sixth. It was the first time that Nola gave up multiple home runs since May 31, and he allowed just three in the entire month of June. He forced a season-high 21 swinging strikes Friday, with 10 coming on the knuckle curve. Nola has delivered a quality start in nine of his last 10 outings, including in four straight. During that 10-start stretch, the veteran righty has posted a 3.34 ERA while going 6-2. Nola will carry a 3.48 ERA into his next outing, which is currently lined up to be at home against the Dodgers.

Fried (7-4) allowed five runs on 11 hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Fried worked through three scoreless frames before beginning to unravel. He gave up three runs in the fourth inning and two more in the sixth. Of the five runs he allowed, four came via a pair of two-run shots from Trea Turner. Fried had given up just three runs over his previous three starts but saw his season ERA jump from 2.91 to 3.18 after Friday's hiccup. His next start is lined up to be in Arizona.

The Diamondbacks are expected to call up Diaz from Triple-A Reno to start Monday's game against Atlanta, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Regarded as one of the top pitching prospects in Arizona's farm system, Diaz earned a promotion June 11 to Reno, where he's posted a 3.27 ERA and 1.23 WHIP alongside a 28:9 K:BB over 22 innings across four starts. Monday would mark the 23-year-old's MLB debut, though he would likely be sent back to Reno following his start against Atlanta.

Severino (5-3) took the loss against the Pirates on Friday, allowing seven runs on nine hits and two walks with three strikeouts over six innings.

Severino surrendered four runs on three homers between the fourth and fifth innings. He was pulled after loading the bases to open the seventh, and all three of those runners scored on a grand slam after his departure. Severino yielded nine hard-hit balls Friday and has allowed six long balls and 17 earned runs over his past four outings. On the season, the 30-year-old owns a 3.83 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 77:34 K:BB over 103.1 innings. He lines up for a home matchup with the Nationals next week.

Skenes (5-0) earned the win against the Mets on Friday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over seven innings.

Skenes surrendered a solo home run in the third inning and another run in the fourth but was otherwise fantastic. According to The Athletic, he is the first pitcher in major-league history to record seven or more strikeouts in nine of his first 10 career starts. The rookie has not lost a game this season and owns a 2.12 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 78:12 K:BB over 59.1 innings. He lines up for a road matchup with the Brewers next week.
