Murphy was promoted to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Murphy will make his way to Charlotte after posting a 3.99 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 21 strikeouts over 29.1 innings in five starts with Double-A Birmingham this season. The southpaw is now just one step away from potentially making his major-league debut down the road this season.

Suarez isn't expected to require an MRI for the right hamstring injury he sustained in Sunday's 3-1 extra-inning loss to the Astros and expects to be ready to go for his next scheduled start, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Suarez was lifted in the fifth inning due to hamstring tightness, but the Red Sox don't view the issue as being significant enough to warrant imaging. The 30-year-old lefty was confident following Sunday's game that he will avoid a stint on the injured list, noting that he was able to pitch through a similar injury last season, per Marcos Grunfeld of ElEmergente.com. Suarez is set to remain in Boston while the team travels to Detroit for a three-game set beginning Monday. The southpaw will be monitored by the training staff, and the hope is that he'll be good to go the next time his turn in the rotation comes up Friday at home versus the Rays.

Fried didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Orioles, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out six.

After holding opponents scoreless over 14 innings in his previous two starts, Fried matched his season high in both walks and hits allowed Sunday, though the Yankees would rally late in an eventual 11-3 victory. Fried has delivered quality starts in six of his eight outings to open the year, posting a 2.39 ERA with a 0.89 WHIP and 43:15 K: BB across 52.2 innings. The left-hander is currently lined up to face the Brewers on the road his next time out.

Gibson did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Yankees, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Making his major-league debut, Gibson gave up a solo home run to Ben Rice in the first inning before Aaron Judge added a two-run blast in the third. Overall, it was a decent debut for Gibson against one of the league's premier offenses. Still, he'll likely return to Triple-A with Trevor Rogers (illness) expected to rejoin the rotation soon.

Seattle claimed Suarez off waivers from Atlanta on Sunday.

Suarez has no minor-league options remaining and will be added to the 26-man active roster once he links up with Seattle. The 28-year-old lefty is expected to serve as a multi-inning option out of the Seattle bullpen after logging a 6.61 ERA, 2.08 WHIP and 21:12 K:BB across 16.1 frames over eight appearances (one start) with Atlanta this season.

Lauer is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Rays, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Jose Berrios (elbow) will make a fourth minor-league rehab start Sunday and won't be a candidate to return from the 15-day injured list until later next week, so Lauer will receive at least one more turn through the rotation. Lauer surrendered seven runs to the Twins on April 11 but has otherwise been a more respectable fill-in starter with a 4.57 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB in his other five outings.

Rodriguez (shoulder) tossed 60 pitches over four sim innings Thursday, per MLB.com.

The throwing session was another step forward for Rodriguez, who threw three three innings in his previous sim game. The right-hander is working his way back from right shoulder inflammation that landed him on the IL in late March. Rodriguez is presumably going to need a minor-league rehab stint before he's activated, though it's unclear when that assignment will begin.

Manoah (finger) tossed 4.1 innings in a rehab start with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out two batters.

Saturday marked Manoah's first game action since he lost a fingernail following a Cactus League start March 17. The right-hander had a rough spring prior to the injury and didn't fare any better in his initial rehab outing, so he'll likely need to show improvement in order to eventually claim a spot in the big-league rotation. Manoah tossed 87 pitches in Saturday's start, so from a workload standpoint he seems pretty close to being fully ramped up.

Yesavage (1-1) took the loss Sunday against the Twins, allowing a run on five hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out six.

It wasn't a bad outing overall for Yesavage, as he held the Twins to a lone run on a two-out single in the opening frame, though he managed to make it through only four innings, throwing 82 pitches. In two starts since returning from the IL, the 22-year-old Yesavage has given up just one run on nine hits while striking out nine over 9.1 innings. Yesavage is tentatively lined up to face the Angels at home his next time out.

Cole (elbow) will make another minor-league rehab appearance with High-A Hudson Valley on Tuesday, per MLB.com.

Cole has so far completed three minor-league starts (one with Hudson Valley and two with Double-A Somerset) and has recorded a 5.02 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 10:1 K:BB through 14.1 innings. In his most recent outing, the veteran righty worked 5.2 frames and threw 60 pitches while sitting at 93-96 mph with his fastball. The Yankees haven't announced how many more rehab starts Cole will make, but it seems to be at least a possibility that if his outing Tuesday goes well, Cole's following start will be in an MLB contest.
