Littell (3-6) allowed seven runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out five over four innings to take the loss versus the Rangers on Sunday.

Littell mostly had things under control until the Rangers erupted for six runs in the fourth inning. He left with a 7-2 deficit, and the Rangers continued to find success against the Rays' bullpen, leaving Littell to take his first loss in four starts. He's had one bad outing in each month of the season, but he's given up four or more runs just four times in 18 starts. The right-hander has a 4.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 91:17 K:BB through 95.1 innings. Littell will look to bounce back versus the Guardians in a challenging matchup at home next weekend.

Woo (hamstring) threw 45 pitches and allowed two runs on a hit with two walks and two strikeouts over 2.2 innings during his rehab start with High-A Everett on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old rejoined the Mariners on Sunday, but manager Scott Servais was non-committal on whether the right-hander will require an additional rehab outing. The club wants Woo to be able to cover at least four or five innings before being reinserted into the big-league rotation, so it wouldn't be surprising if he's sent on another rehab outing to further build up his workload before being activated.

Eovaldi (6-3) earned the win Sunday over the Rays, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out five without walking a batter over seven innings.

Eovaldi limited the damage to a two-run home run by Jose Caballero in the third inning, and the Rangers generated plenty of offense to counter that. This is the third start in a row in which Eovaldi has completed seven innings, though it was a small step back from his one-hit outing versus the Padres last Tuesday. The right-hander has a 3.10 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 85:26 K:BB across 87 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected for a road start in Houston his next time out.

Arrighetti allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Sunday.

While Arrighetti put too much traffic on the basepaths, he was able to limit the damage. Christian Vazquez drove in both runs on Arrighetti's line with an RBI single in the second and a fielder's choice in the fourth. Arrighetti has had a couple of stumbles lately, completing five innings in just three of his last six starts. He's now at a 5.96 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 86:41 K:BB through 74 innings over 16 starts for the year. The rookie right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Rangers.

Baz is scheduled to start Thursday's game against the Yankees at Tropicana Field.

Baz will make a second straight turn through the Tampa Bay rotation as he continues to fill the spot that belonged to Aaron Civale, who was traded to the Brewers last week. After being called up from Triple-A Durham on Friday to make his first start for the Rays since July 10, 2022, Baz struck out six while allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings in a loss to the Rangers. Though he maintains a hold on a rotation spot for now, Baz could still be at some risk of losing out on a starting role once Jeffrey Springs (elbow) eventually returns from the 60-day injured list.

Woods Richardson allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Sunday.

Woods Richardson gave up both runs in the second inning, but the Twins were able to respond and ultimately won 3-2. He's been just fine with 18 runs allowed over 37.2 innings across his last seven starts, three of which registered as quality starts. He's now at a 3.48 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 64:23 K:BB through 77.2 innings over 15 starts this season. The 23-year-old is projected to make his next start in San Francisco.

Soriano (4-7) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Cubs.

Soriano gave up two runs in the third inning and another in the fifth, and the Angels mustered just three hits to give him little support. He's allowed seven runs over nine innings across two starts since he returned from an abdominal infection. The right-hander is now at a 3.87 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 67:30 K:BB through 81.1 innings over 16 appearances (14 starts). After stretching out to 73 pitches Sunday, Soriano should be able to handle close to a full workload in his next start, which is tentatively projected to be at home versus the Mariners.

Mahle (elbow) is scheduled to make his second rehab start Tuesday with Triple-A Round Rock, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Mahle is expected to cover around two innings once again Tuesday after he tossed two scoreless frames while striking out a batter in his first rehab outing with Round Rock on July 2. The right-hander is building back up from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last May and likely won't be an option for the Texas rotation until his 30-day rehab window comes to an end in early August.

Montero is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Guardians in Detroit, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

He'll pick up a second straight turn through the rotation after he earned his first MLB win while limiting the Twins to two earned runs on six hits and one walk over 6.1 innings this past Wednesday following his promotion from Triple-A Toledo. Assuming he performs well enough against the Guardians to stick around with the big club, Montero will line up for one final start before the All-Star break next weekend versus the Dodgers at Comerica Park.

The Tigers list Flaherty (back) as their scheduled starter for Thursday's game against the Guardians in Detroit, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Flaherty avoided a stint on the injured list when a back issue reared its head coming out of his June 27 start versus the Angels, but he'll end up having missed nearly two weeks while waiting for two pain-killing injections to provide some relief. The Tigers seem confident that the extended rest will help resolve Flaherty's back problems, which also resulted in him missing a turn through the rotation in the first half of June. Back issues aside, Flaherty has been even better than the Tigers could have hoped when they signed him to a one-year, $14 million deal this winter. Over his 15 starts, Flaherty has gone 5-5 with a 3.24 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 115:14 K:BB in 89 innings.
