  • Trevor Megill RP | MIL

Brewers' Trevor Megill: Locks down four-out save

Megill earned the save in Sunday's 9-8 win over the Twins, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two over 1.1 innings.

The Brewers turned to Megill in the eighth inning after Jared Koenig allowed a pair of two-out singles following a Ty France homer that cut Milwaukee's lead to 9-8. Megill struck out Jonah Bride before working around a Harrison Bader one-out double in the ninth inning to pick up his 17th save this year. Megill's converted his last five save chances, allowing one run while striking out 10 in that span (5.1 innings). His ERA sits at 2.70 on the year with a 1.31 WHIP and 32:14 K:BB across 26.2 innings.

  • Seth Halvorsen RP | COL

Rockies' Seth Halvorsen: Secures sixth save

Halvorsen allowed a hit in a scoreless inning and earned a save over Arizona on Sunday. He struck out one batter.

Halvorsen worked around a two-out double by Randal Grichuk to close out the 4-2 victory Sunday. It was Halvorsen's first appearance since blowing a save chance against the Nationals on Thursday. He's now converted six of his nine save opportunities while producing a 4.31 ERA and a 29:14 K:BB through 31.1 innings.

  • Marlins' Ronny Henriquez: Picks up second save

Henriquez earned the save in Sunday's 5-3 win over Atlanta, allowing one hit while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Henriquez allowed a leadoff single to Alex Verdugo to lead off the ninth, though he got Michael Harris to ground into a double play before striking out Sean Murphy to close out his second save this season. The Marlins have taken a committee approach to the ninth inning this year, and Henriquez has become one of their more trusted relief options. The 25-year-old right-hander has posted a 3.00 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and 48:16 K:BB across 36 innings this year.

  • Phillies' Michael Mercado: Sent back to Triple-A

The Phillies optioned Mercado to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

After being called up from Triple-A on June 11, Mercado made three relief appearances during his week-and-a-half-long stay with the Phillies, covering three innings while allowing five earned runs on seven hits and four walks. The Phillies recalled right-hander Alan Rangel from Lehigh Valley to replace Mercado as a lower-leverage, multi-inning option out of the bullpen.

  • Alan Rangel RP | PHI

Phillies' Alan Rangel: Brought up from Triple-A

The Phillies recalled Rangel from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

Right-hander Michael Mercado was optioned to Triple-A to make room on the 26-man active roster and in the bullpen for Rangel. The 27-year-old right-hander previously made his MLB debut in a three-inning relief appearance June 7 and will likely serve as a lower-leverage arm during his latest stint with the Phillies.

  • Blake Treinen RP | LAD

Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Continues to progress toward return

Treinen (forearm) has advanced to using his entire pitch mix during his throwing progression, per MLB.com.

Treinen resumed playing catch in mid-May, and he then began throwing bullpens in early June. The right-handed reliever recently became eligible to be activated from the 60-day IL, but he probably won't return to the Dodgers' bullpen until at least early July. Trienen will likely be sent out on a minor-league rehab assignment before he's ready to face big-league batters again.

  • Angel Chivilli RP | NYY

Rockies' Angel Chivilli: Rejoins big club

The Rockies recalled Chivilli from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has struggled to a 6.14 ERA across 29.1 innings during his time in the big leagues this season, but he'll rejoin the Rockies on Sunday with Carson Palmquist being optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Chivilli should fill a low-leverage relief role while he's up with the Rockies.

  • Andre Granillo RP | WAS

Cardinals' Andre Granillo: Sent back to Triple-A

The Cardinals optioned Granillo to Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.

The Cardinals will swap Granillo out of the bullpen for a fresh arm in Gordon Graceffo, who was recalled from Memphis. After getting called up June 12, Granillo enjoyed a productive first stint in the majors, making five appearances and allowing one earned run on three hits and one walk over 6.2 innings while recording a win and a save.

  • Cardinals' Gordon Graceffo: Joins big-league bullpen

The Cardinals recalled Graceffo from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.

Graceffo will provide some extra coverage in the bullpen after St. Louis burned through five relievers in Saturday's 11-inning win. After beginning the season as a starter at Triple-A, Graceffo transitioned to the bullpen upon returning to Memphis on May 31 following a three-week stint in the big leagues. Over nine relief outings with Memphis, Graceffo supplied a 3.46 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB in 13 innings.

  • Yosver Zulueta RP | BAL

Reds' Yosver Zulueta: Rejoins big club

The Reds recalled Zulueta from Triple-A Louisville prior to Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

In a corresponding move, Cincinnati optioned Chase Petty to Triple-A to open up a spot for a fresh bullpen arm. Zulueta previously spent five days with the big club back in May. Since he was optioned to Louisville, he's pitched to a 5.06 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 19:12 K:BB in 16 innings over 13 appearances.
